after approval, you must be ready with all necessary paperwork and payments as soon as they post them.

Once you get a case number from NVC, and if you are ready and answer them right away, it takes about one month and half for case complete.

and then it depends on your consulate

Hi this is my first time posting here. My pd is 06/18/2013. My case was transferred to nebraska on 12/26/13. I have still not heard anything about my case from the NVC. I really hope they start approving our cases now. This is just taking too long.

My wife's application was approved this morning out of the Nebraska center!!!!! We are filling from overseas.

I called Monday, feb 11th and was told it had been assigned to an agent Friday, Feb 8th and would take around two weeks. If you call and need to get past the tier 1 agent who know nothing, tell them you want to have your case expedited. They will list a bunch of reasons. You have to give them one. The first one is the easiest, financial reasons. Does not matter if it is true or not. It is just a trick to get past the tier one agent. Then they will send you through to a tier two agent. The one I got was helpful and told me the case was assigned and would take around two weeks so no point in expedite.

Good luck all.

My Priority date is 06/18/13 also. My case was transferred to Nebraska on 12/26/2013. So we are in the same position. I have not yet heard anything. Ironically when I called. The tier 1 officer I spoke to said Nebraska was the fastest service center.rofl.gif This was before the newest 2 month old data was released. This shows, they use old data and give outdated information. I know the waiting is tough. I like other members have missed my first year anniversary. I am praying I will get to see my hubby for Spring break next month. Hopefully that will be enough to keep me from losing my mind worrying about our petition being approved. It will be interesting to see if we get approved on the same date smile.png

The longer I'm on this site and the more I see what USCIS is doing to families, the more sick inside I feel. Feb-June filers last year got the absolute worst possible deal, and people from the latter half of the year don't seem to realize their good fortune. August transfers now have more NOA2s than June, yet they complain if California takes more than a week or two to turn around their approvals. I realize it's not a contest and everyone is suffering -- 6 months for August folks is still above goal and still plenty long, I remember how I felt at that point -- but I wish more of those people looked at what's going on behind them to get some perspective. It's crushing to think of how many people are being left behind while USCIS zips along to August and September cases. My heart goes out to you all. I hope Nebraska picks up the pace and we see lots more approvals around here!
