I'm sorry you are going through this. It is depressing - hard not to feel like your life is being held hostage by bureaucracy. Try to stay positive and busy and know that eventually this wait will be just a memory.

Is your timeline updated?

60 days over from transfer. Ridiculous.

I'm 2 weeks away from 60 days.

But I know one thing for sure: the 60-day after transfer notice is not even worth the value of the paper it is written on!

Even if you call them, thy will say: it is a target, not a guarantee! more like 90 or 180 days!!!!!!!!

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box

They don't play by their own rules and yes it sucks because that's our leaders for you. When you put something in writing you should stick with it not lie and stretch the circumstances. Someone really needs to be over those people that should be for our behalf....

The worst thing for me is that i've already handed in my notice to leave work ( i have to give 3 months notice). I'm still on the rota and get to work but only like 3 days a week just to help out. Thinking back i probably shouldn't have jumped the gun and quit. I guess it gives me more time to sort my house out and stuff.
Back up plan...if this doesn't work out they want to give me my job back.

Only 54 days since transfer : (

60 days after transfer. I called and told the same "Wait 180 days before inquiring. The Nebraska Service Center is currently processing March 3rd petitions"

I was denied the request to speak with a Tier 2. Like I can't read a ***** website.

Any June filer's from Arizona, this may help...

Senator McCain's office has been getting flooded with inquiry requests and they also are behind (about a week) in submitting inquiries.

Was told that at the first stage (up to 5-6 months) they hold the petition before transfer. Second stage for processing and Nebraska has been taking on average about 3 months. Currently 2-3 months at the NVC. Then about 2-3 weeks to arrive at the Consulate/Embassy... She said she would be happy to submit the inquiry and that of course this is just a generalized time frame. She will email/mail me a response to the inquiry. Very pleasant to work with, but very busy.

Senator Flake's office sounded less busy and was also very happy to help. "Yes sir. I submitted a senate inquiry that afternoon and currently awaiting a response from USCIS. As soon as I receive a response to it, I will most certainly email/mail the information to you."

Congresswoman Kirkpatrick's office...Not so much :P
"I don't have your request in our system yet, but it usually takes about a week or two to show up. I can check the fax box if you like and give you a call back?" Never mind that I had to submit a request online, print it out and fax it to their office...which I did a week ago :P

Anyhow, thought I would share...

Also new processing times are posted
Goal: 5 months,
Average: 8.3 months,

Nebraska a speedy 9 months [as of 11/30/13]
