DS-230 problems

Hi everyone,

Im going through London, and have just completed the paperwork online, as requested.

It seems that the London embassy site, has technical problems with the online

completion of the DS-230,

Has anybody recently experienced this, and if so, are hand written forms acceptable?

I had no problem with the DS-156 and DS-156K, just the DS-230.

Ive tried searching the forums for an answer and the visa 'helpline'...well 'nuff said

Download the form to your computer and do it localy.

If it a problem with the one on London site try here for them:

There's nothing wrong with handwritten forms. Not everybody has a computer. The consulate will accept them.

I called the visa 'helpline' first to enquire and was told that I should have received the

forms in my packet????

I had to literally read the whole instructions page to the operator, telling us that forms

should be filled in online and downloaded.

Apparently, they are unaware that forms arent being sent out, hence my confusion.
