Why are you waiting? P3 is on the Montreal website with all the information. Print it out, do it, and mail it like yesterday! Its only causing your own case to be delayed. This information is in the Canada forums in a step by step guide for Montreal.

Moving your post as this is Canada specific.

I didn't wait for my Packet 3, I simply printed what I needed from the Montreal website and sent it Xpress post. They received it the next day, not too sure when it was logged but I received Packet 4 via email on the Friday after I sent it.

I would definitely get Packet 3 together and send it out!

Good luck! smile.png

Thanks for the help!

Just double checking, but for P3 I don't actually have to mail any documents? but I have to have them ready for the interview? By checking them off, signing it and then mailing in the "checklist for K-1 Fiance Visa Applicants" sheet? Lastly, if something does not apply did you just write N/A?

I suppose they just want to be assured that we have the required documents ready in hand...

thanks for all of your help

Wow, you guys received Packet 4 by email?! And so fast!! We mailed our Packet 3 documents in on May 13th with nary a peep from the consulate since. We are "interview eligible" but they haven't sent out our Packet 4 yet. We really, really, really want to schedule our interview ASAP, having been waiting since August for this, but the indefinite waiting continues.

Ugh. Is there anything I can do to see what is going on? I really should stop checking this website, it just stresses me out.

For Montreal, you do have things to mail in, as well as the checklist for bringing to the interview. The Vancouver procedure is different.

We had both packet 3 and packet 4 come via email, never received anything via snail mail.

Have you tried emailing them? I enquired about my P3 every day (I know, a little much) via email and then on the Friday they emailed me back P4. I would also suggest calling, if you would rather speak to someone directly.

Thanks for the help!

There are quite a few things you need to fill out for P3, but all of it can be found on the Montreal website. There is a sticky for the Montreal Consulate in the Canadian section of the forums that I found very helpful! Good luck!! :)

Call DOS and ask about your P3/P4 or book your appointment. P4 is just the instructions to book the appointment online.. which are already all over the Canada forums.
