I just want to find out if we are already alone on our wait for the most sought after noa2. My fiance already contacted the uscis several times, written 2 senators, his congresswoman, wrote a letter to uscis, sent an e-request online, sent a request to be assisted by no less than the uscis ombudsman...everything but the kitchen sink!

I dont know what else we should do. i am happy for all those that have been approved and most of them are already February 2013 filers.

I mean, these people we contacted, dont they see there is a problem with their processing at the CSC? cant they do it in the order they received it? if there is a problem with our file, let us know, we would gladly follow any RFEs...but not even that...nothing....we have not received anything.

I hope some knowledgeable members would shed some light to our situation. is this really how it is? if we get left behind, we have no option but to WAIT and just WAIT??? until when? it is really so frustrating. We are near 11 months since we filed our petition July 26 of 2012.

Yours is truly a horror story that none of us hope to experience in terms of length of wait. Thing is, a lot of people have been passed over on their current march to Feb filers, and appear to be headed towards an equally long wait. It is puzzling why they don't process them in order anymore, nor have given an explanation. They don't even seem to be going back to any of those passed anymore, except received RFEs. I hate to say it, but the only thing I can think of is that maybe many, like yours, was lost in the flooding that occured two months ago.

That is the thing...if they lost our file, we can always provide them with new ones just so our case would move along finally. but NO. nothing was asked from us. my fiance asked them to at least let him know what it is they need, we are willing to help out just so the case would be processed but all they keep saying is wait. first they said 8 days. then after that, 2 weeks. then after that, they would say we were advised wrongly and still advised to wait some more. but cant say until when...that is the frustrating part. i dont mind waiting if there is some certainty that we will get some results and answers soon. but no...nothing....

besides, how can they lose our file when it was already scanned in their system? that is why we had a noa1 of july 26. dont they scan everything in the computer so that whatever happens to the hard copy, they can re-establish it by printing them all out?

i just cant figure them out anymore and this situation being a horror story is an understatement.:(

I feel you. If I were in your shoes, I simply would bother the hell out of them until they get sick of me and process it. They say wait, sure, but I'll still keep sending a letter every day, email them every day, and call them every day, if nothing else, just to pester them so they all know who I am.

What's worse for us is that we have a pair of Senators that seem to have a history of not being helpful towards visa problems. Probably because California gets more than any state.

Thanks much Leon & Mylen :)

I intend to do just that so they'd have no choice but look into our case. Hoping for good news soon.ClockWatch2.gif God bless you for knowing, understanding and relating to where we stand....it is where no one would want to be in their visa journey crying.gif

Everything happens for a reason...I trust God has a bigger plan why he allows these delays to happen....but i sure hope he lets me in on it so i wont feel this depressed:cray5ol.gif

Just saying....:)
