Did any one get an email from the Embassy requesting proof of relationship be brought to the interview? My husband received an email to day saying:

On the day of your interview, please bring the following documents to our office and hand them to the Consular Greeter in the following order:

- Passport

- Photos

- Medical report

- Passport pickup location receipt

- Proof of relationship between you and your spouse.

They also changed his interview time from 8:30am to 7:30am.

That's just standard you just have an embassy that actually reminds you. You know the stuff you didn't send in the evidence between the petition and NVC and such. It's all good.

Okay thanks. I was starting to freak out a little. I have 2 folders for my husband to bring but I hadn't read of people getting a letter from the embassy. Plus I was talking to someone who's husbands interview is the day after mine and they haven't received anything yet. I was thinking maybe they already question our marriage.

My interview is next Monday and I'm starting to stress! I keep wondering if there;s anything I'm missing to bring for the actual interview itself. Here's what I have compiled so far.

1. All I-864s & I-864A originals and a duplicate of the sponsor, joint sponsor and family member (We did EP)

2. My husband's (Sponsor) recent paystubs, even though he's currently working in Canada with me

3. A rental agreement from my in-laws for when we move to Florida.

4. A letter stating we are able to stay with my in-laws upon moving.

5. Our joint sponsor's employment letter.

6. All tax returns from years 2009 to 2012.

7. Moving estimate from U-haul (For proving domicile purposes)

8. Joint Bank Account statements with RBC US Accounts with my husband

9. Greeting cards hubby and I have given one another

10. More photos.

11. Coloured photocopies of all sponsors' citizenship.

12. Marriage Certificate

13. My Police clearance check

14. My medical results

15. My passport

16. My Canadian Long form birth certificate

17. My 2 US sized passport photos

18. Loomis Confirmation printout

19. Interview Letter

20. Husband's bank statements with his US bank.

Am I missing anything?

Also for the bank statements, has anyone scribbled/blocked out the actual monetary value of the statement? With such sensitive information I feel uncomfortable with the numbers showing. Would it be ok if i scribbled it out?

Well you are very prepared. Except for Medical stuff I bet they don't ask for anything. Just breathe and be confident and all will be well. Okay

My wife was asked three question. What is your husbands name? Where does he work? How many people attended the wedding. No photos were asked or any other questions. She was then given a paper telling her to pay the greencard fee using the A# in the passport. The officer was described as a lawyer by my wife. Polite, but shrewd. He changed my first name when he referred to me and my wife corrected him. She said he gave a smirk when she corrected him.

Hi guys , thanks dwheels for adding my case to the list. My interview and my medical exam are approaching. Could you please kindly advise if the list of things to bring to the medical exam and the interview that I compiled below is sufficient or not ? Thank you so much.

I. Medical Exam

· Passport Photo (4.5mm x 3.5mm)

· NVC Appointment Letter

· Passport

II. Interview

· Copy of I-130 Package

· Copy of I-864 Package

· Copy of DS-230 Package

Instruction

1. Original marriage documents, translations and certifications.

2. Formal, long form birth certificate.

3. Copies of any divorce records or death decrees of former SO(s). (N/A)

4. Passport, with an expiration date of no earlier than 6 months. Try to have more than 6 months before expiration.

5. Police certificate with "Nothing" written on it, indicating no criminal record (Already submitted to the NVC)

6. Fingerprints (consulate will instruct you regarding how, when and where these will be taken). There is a fee for this. (Not sure about this, please advise !!!)

7. Medical exam results

8. Passport type photos of each of you.

9. Proof of relationship (we plan on bringing more photo, call logs, chat logs (last 6 months), and original lease contract with both of our names on it).
