Hi folks, I may be a June 2013 filer.... getting the N 400 ready and just double checking.... got the check almost ready, application is nearly done. According to the guide here on visa journey, do I provide divorce certificates of husbands ex-spouses and any other documents other then the front and back of my green card. We are filing the N400 based on marrying a us citizen via the K1 visa. Thanks and sorry I'm new to this part of the visa journey. More specifically, the guide is confusing me when it says "

Only if required, send copies of the following documents (the USCIS will request originals if needed):

The document(s) that legally changed your name (marriage certificate, divorce decree, or court document).

YES, you most definitely have to send a copy of any and all divorce decrees for you and your EX-husband if YOU have been married before, AND copies of divorce decree for your CURRENT husband AND his former wife, if he was married before, and fill out the N400 form accordingly. I had to provide copies of my husband's divorce decree along with other required documents. If you need help filling out Part 8, especially sections G, let us know.

Sorry I have not been posting, I forgot to tell you all we got the letter for the biometrics. and it WILL be in West Palm Beach. (Royal Palm Beach, actually, but its still technically West Palm). The date is 7/10/13 . So, that answers that question! Now, if only the interview won't be scheduled til AFTER we get back from Pakistan, as we leave on the 23rd and return Aug 20.. but we are all for moving the flight up depending on Interview date. So... thanks to all who tried to help and looking forward to keeping up with all of you!


It seems that you went through the removal of conditions the same time we did. My husband got his 10 yr green card in March of this yr also! Welcome to the thread. Good luck with your N400 application. In Sha Allah!

Since you haven't gotten your NOA1 as yet, according to your timeline, expect to get two envelopes in the mail. One will be your NOA1 and the other will be your Biometrics letter. For your timeline, we will need the date of your biometrics appt, as well as the PRIORITY DATE on the NOA1.

You're welcome. Not sure if besaangel is saying they're not currently accepting walk ins at that office, but basically any office can do walk ins it's just a matter if they will take you or not. You can try the one closest to you, or a different one and see what happens. The worst that can happen is they'll deny your walk in and say come back when you're scheduled. Doing an early walk in is better than rescheduling because rescheduling can cause all kinds of delays in the process. Good luck!

The question was did anyone do a walkin in NYC this month, which there hasnr been. Hopefully I didn't read it wrong but that's what I answered to.

I was busy this week but I had a EB on Thursday at Dover. Online status still says initial review
