Our i-485 is ready for Testing and Interview i guess they bypass our EAD card

this morning I check my case on USCIS.gov. and saw this : Your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS is now ready for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 30 days of the date the notice is mailed, please call customer service at for further assistance. Please check our website at for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

I guess they Bypass our Ead card , which i don't mind because once we pass our interveiw my wife will get her green card, wow wow talk about good timing I have to say our case did move fast, i am so glad we cancel the I-129f & went for the I-485 now

Here is my timeline.

2012-09-12-Married

2012-11-01--- my wife went back home

Form- i_130

2012-11-08---sent I-130

2012-11-13- I-130 Case accepted and routed to USCIS National Benefits Center for processing

2012-11-24-Received RFE I-30

Form I-129f

2012-11-26--Sent I-129f

2012-12-24----wife came back up for christmas & new years

2013-01-04---I-130 approved

2013-02-## ---Cancel I-129f (can't remember date )& decided to file I-485

form i-485

2013-04-15-sent I-485, I-130 approval hard copy and I-765 applications to lock box, Chicago, IL

2013-04-20- came back with a note stating the amount was wrong

2013-04-22- i-485 packlet send to lock box, Chicago, IL ( the correct amount this time)

2013-04-25- email saying Case I-485 Case accepted

2013-04-29: Received both I-485 and I-765 NOA's hard copy in the mail and the Biometrics appointment letter

2013-05-21: Biometrics done & stamp on my I-797c

2013-05-31: check case on the USCIS web page & its said (your I-485 status: Testing and Interview ( "Your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS is now ready for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview.")

by the way they didn't by pass your EAD. lol

when u got your interview date it usually 5-6wks from the date they notify u....and in between those date you will received your EAD..that's exactly what happen with my husband AOS. we got his interview date 2wks ago and they just approved his EAD yesterday.

My husband didn't get his AP or EAD even though we applied for it. The interview was scheduled so quickly, so I guess he didn't need them anyways. The greencard tends to arrive a week after the interview.

I got the same email notice for testing and interview on 3rd of June but I didn't receive the interview letter yet and I'm really so worry about that cause I saw many guys didn't receive this letter because of some stupid reasons .

So my questions are if you allow me:

1- did you get another email notice showing you the interview date from USCIS after this email (case status update ) notice or no ????

2- when did you get your hard copy letter after the case status update to testing and interview

So my questions are if you allow me:

we got a email about 2 weeks or so ater our biometrics, from there it took about a week to get the appt letter. on the uscis page you can register for updated information. Being that it has been about 2 weeks for you, you may want to contact uscis to ask about appt time because if you dont make it, your application is automatically denied as the letter states. we got the hard letter Saturday past and our appt is about a month. I'm already registered there (USCIS) and I received only one email like yours ( without a date ) saying its ready now for scheduling and after 15 minutes I received another text message for case update but without an email .

My biometric was on 5/29/2013

we got our testing & interview update on the 12 of June, but on the hard copy A.O.S letter was send out on June 10...

Not yet F2A it's had been 18 days from my case update to ready for scheduling but not yet any update I think when they will schedule our cases we should recieve an email and/or text message showing that they already schedule it

Anyway please update me at the time you will have any update and for sure I will do the same

Just got an email update before 45 minutes

They scheduled my interview and it will be on 6th of August
