Exactly, I have been waiting for mine since 05/28 as well.

Hi all,Any other help or advice will be appreciated. I'm getting desperate. Is making an INFOPASS appointment in Los Angeles worth it?

THANK YOU.

I say walk in to the LA office, plead with the guard to let you in.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Hi all,

Me again. My NOA2 date was May 31, 2013. 15 business days was last Friday (June 21st). Today is June 25th and it is still not at NVC. I have emailed NVC. I have called USCIS everyday - they give me differing information (it takes 30, 60, 90 days to get to NVC depending on the tier 1 officer I get). The tier 2 officers have confirmed that my file has not left Los Angeles but is "pending transfer." USCIS has put in an inquiry that they are supposed to respond to by July 6th.

Today, NVC told me that it could take up to 15 business days for the file to reach NVC and then 10 to 20 business days for it to get entered into their system!!! First I've heard of that. Is this true? That makes it 25 - 35 business days before they have it on their system! That doesn't seem to be in line with what other people are experiencing. Maybe it's 10 to 20 business days to invoice? Whatever it is - it's bad at this point as my petition hasn't even gotten to NVC.

Anything else I can do? I'm calling NVC and USCIS every day. I talk to a Tier 2 rep at USCIS - they can tell me it hasn't left but cannot put in another service request (one per 30 day period). NVC only tells me it's not there and I can email - which I have already done (except for the new information I learned today).

Any other help or advice will be appreciated. I'm getting desperate. Is making an INFOPASS appointment in Los Angeles worth it?

THANK YOU.

you can do away with calling uscis, they will continue to tell you the same thing

nvc will tell you when it is received.. and will script the 15/20 etc.. although it rarely takes that long

your petition is stuck at your local office! try a walk in if you can or make an infopass.. sometimes you can get the infopass within a week, generally it is 2-3 weeks out

have you started your own inquiries? omnibudsman, elected officials, etc??

you have a lot you can still do, if you just wait, it will get there, the longest I have seen is three months

good luck

When you're asking questions about the IV track, putting in dates about AOS-related tasks are irrelevant. Remember, the AOS and IV tracks have NOTHING to do with one another.

If the DS-261 has been added to the casefile, then the IV bill could be invoiced any day. Just keep checking the payment portal (using IE) as often as you want.

Thank you, Saylin. I called NVC today and she said the file is still updating. Once that was done, I can pay IV bill. I received the email from NVC about DS-261 was added in my file on Friday, June 21, 2013 afternoon. Hope we can pay our IV bill within this week.

I'm waiting for my AOS bill to be invoiced, and it's been saying the "your case is in termination" thing all day?! How long does it usually take for the bill to be invoiced so I can log in? Hours, days? I can't find that information anywhere :)

Thanks!!!

I'm not sure if anyone can help..... how can I get a letter from nvc requesting police verification? Kuwait requires a letter stating that nvc requires it. Any help will be greatly appreciated

You'll have to send the IV package without the police certificate. You'll then get a checklist requesting the missing certificate. You should be able to use that to get the certificate.
