hi folks,

I created a new post with my question but unfortunately didn't receive any replies, so I will post it here as this topic gets a lot of traffic. It's off topic so I apologize in advance.

after waiting nearly 9 weeks, my green card finally arrived, with an error!! they made a mistake with my birth date and typed it in wrong, they told me to file form I-90. Do I just select "USCIS error" for reasoning and don't disclose a check since they're the ones that made the error?! Or do I need to disclose some type of cover letter explaining the situation?

It's definitely their fault, so do NOT include a check. And tick off "USCIS error". I'd suggest including a letter to clarify the reasoning for the I-90. Not sure if it's required or not, but make sure you submit a copy of your birth certificate showing your actual birth date.

Is this the DS-3032 acceptance email?

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: .... filed by ..... on behalf of ......

We received the principal applicant's DS-3032 (Choice of Address and Agent) form designating an address and agent. Instructions for paying the immigrant visa application processing fee and all future correspondence will be sent to the agent at the address selected on the DS-3032.

I don't see the word "accepted" in there. This only came to beneficiary's email address.

Saylin, thank you :) I will do that, I guess I have to include a copy of my birth certificate and the translation, I will also include a copy of my Canadian passport
