Once you send the IV package, if everything is fine, then you should have a case complete early July. An interview for early July will be highly improbable for you. It'll most likely be August at this point.

Thanks Saylin!

we're hoping it'd be early/mid next month (we also requested for an expedite but no status update on that one yet). A little worried about having the interview early Aug since i probably would be too pregnant to fly :(

am hoping for a smooth process afterwards. IF they didnt lose our file we'd have had a case complete by now :(

After long 15 minutes on hold Just finish talking to NVC operator. she confirms that my first Aos was been reviewed last June 12 and got my checklist on that last June 14. I just ask if they already review and still no information. She says I need to a lot 20 working days to be in system. And I also I follow up on Ds230 packet. she informs they already finish reviewing the ds230 just waiting for the Singapore Police Clearance. finally got my police clearance. and I will send tomorrow. ?

There is no automated phone line anymore, everything is done through operators.

This depends. Do you want to know right away when the case number is assigned? If yes, then yes, start calling everyday. If you're in no rush, just sit back and wait.

Oh, I want to know. Just wasn't sure if there would be any chance of it getting assigned within two weeks of them receiving it.

Another question...the IV bill doesn't get invoiced until the DS-3032 is accepted, correct? But they will invoice the AOS fee before the DS-3032 is accepted?

It could assigned any day after they receive it.

Correct, the IV bill isn't invoiced until after the DS-3032 has been received and added to the case file.

The AOS bill is invoiced independently of the DS-3032.

Thanks, Saylin.

So if the AOS gets invoiced and I pay it before the DS-3032 gets accepted I can go ahead and send in the AOS package?

Yes. The DS-3032 is part of the IV track which has NOTHING to do with the AOS track. They're both two separate, independent tracks.
