I am too waiting. It is really frustrating that they are taking so long. Don't know what is holding.

The original date I was told that they received our papers was 06/06/13, however, every call after that, they said 06/09/2013. So, I think it's normal for that date to change by a few days.

Hi everyone.

Our NOA2 was May 3rd but somehow our file got 'misplaced' so when we got to NVC, it was on June 11. Anywho, I emailed the DS3032, got accepted, got our case number and IIN. My husband has paid the AOS bill, got the packet reviewed and he paid the IV bill yesterday.

Anyone know how far away are we from a case complete and interview date? We were hoping for early July but I highly doubt it sad.png

Once you send the IV package, if everything is fine, then you should have a case complete early July. An interview for early July will be highly improbable for you. It'll most likely be August at this point.

That's it. I'm not calling NVC again. Just gonna wait for my case complete email. Just called to see if they had started looking at our corrected AOS and the rep said "you have to wait 20 business days" (fair enough), then I asked "has it been recieved or put onto your system yet?" - and she raised her voice and repeated YOU HAVE TO WAIT 20 BUSINESS DAYS MA'AM".

Grrrr. So bloody rude. Some of the reps are so great and polite. I'm just stressed and miss my hubby, don't need her attitude sad.png

Rant over.

Please realise, the operators will NOT be able to tell you the packages have been received, or entered in the system, until the review has begun. Until then, they see nothing on their computers.

Also remember, the case complete email can take a few days to receive after the actual case complete. If you don't mind waiting to find out, that's fine. But if you want to know right away, then you may want to keep calling once a day.

We emailed our AOS package on June 21, 2013 (Fri). Our DS-261 and payment has been added to our case file. But no IV bill yet. Should I call NVC today for IV bill? Kindly advise. Thank you.

When you're asking questions about the IV track, putting in dates about AOS-related tasks are irrelevant. Remember, the AOS and IV tracks have NOTHING to do with one another.

If the DS-261 has been added to the casefile, then the IV bill could be invoiced any day. Just keep checking the payment portal (using IE) as often as you want.

Well today it has been 4 weeks from the time I asked for supervisor review. So far for 3 weeks they have said it is in the right department and is under review :( And also one week from the day I requested for expedite due to it taking so long on a paper I know for a fact they have. Kinda getting old thinking that maybe today for few weeks now...

I just feel the reps at nvc get grouchy when you call all the time. I haven't had any really bad experiences with them but today just annoyed me. Instead of explaining that they cannot see my case until it is on the system she practically yelled at me to just wait. I knowwww that all I can do is wait, just a little explanation would be nice. I'll call once a week.

This depends. Do you want to know right away when the case number is assigned? If yes, then yes, start calling everyday. If you're in no rush, just sit back and wait.
