Woohoo, congrats!

Yay, another one, congrats!

I would suggest NOT sending in anything unless it's requested. It could cause a delay if they receive something when it was not requested. Just be patient for them to review it.

Just called and was told not to send new AOS.

Thanks

Ahh I am waiting

. I send new version of AOS when I get a checklist for wrong number inputs. The best is wait for your RFE. dont send new one. I called nvc before sending my checklist and if they ask you to send the new version. if you have pending AOS just wait for that. i send old version on the 29 of May and got RFE on the 14 of June. in my checklist they told send the AOS new form

Just for everyone's information:

"Notice: New Form I-864 - The National Visa Center (NVC), as well as U.S. embassies and consulates will accept either the 09/09/11 version or the newer (03/22/13) version of the Form I-864 until June 23, 2013. However, after June 23, 2013, only the newer version (03/22/13) of the form will be accepted. If an applicant already submitted an old 09/09/11version of the Form I-864 before June 23, applicants will NOT be required to submit a new version of the Form I-864 unless the embassy requires the submission of a new I-864 for some other reason. "

You do not need to bring new I-864 form to the embassy either, if everything was fine with AOS.

Are you serious. What in the world. I will also change the case complete list. Sorry

Ya, it happens with EP casefiles, when sending more bonafide marriage evidence. Remember the 20 pounder you sent off? Is similar, la.

Just electronic and many many emails.

FWIW, the IV set was complete, in one file, one email. I sent more stuff after that.

Saylin - a data point to change (on me)

email 'caught up' at NVC - they added the stuff I sent in for the IV set (more bonafide marriage evidence)

and

a new case complete date of today, 20 June 2013.

Updated the spreadsheet with the new CC date good.gif

Good news = they added the bona fide evidence

Bad news = new case complete date (although, it's only 10 days from your original one)

I would still highly recommend to everyone to bring the new form filled out to the interview if they submitted an old one. I'd hate to see anyone put into unnecessary AP just because they didn't have the new form on hand at the interview.

Just press the post button once :P

And yes, they started reviewing the new form I believe about 2 weeks ago.

I highly suggest you call NVC if it's been a month since you submitted packages. Doesn't matter how long it takes on the phone, stick with it until you speak with an operator.

So my question is its been a week since my AOS packet has been at NVC doesn't it take a week for them to review it after NVC received each packet? The 24th of June will be a week for IV packet at NVC. Can anybody give me an estimate for case complete? Colombia US embassy isn't a complicated embassy by the way. After NVC receives your packets, they still have to enter it into their system, would take 1-2weeks (in my case). If you plan on calling NVC anytime soon, try to ask if your AOS/IV packets are already in their system. Once they are in their computer, they will usually tell you, 'it takes 20 business days to process it'. Good luck! smile.png
