Hello Saylin,

I have a question. NVC recieved my AOS package on June 10th. It is still pending.. I am thinking if i do not get approval by Friday. i will overnight new AOS form to embassy as they are not accepting the form any more starting Monday.

Do you think its a good idea or bad??

Just thinking ahead.

Yup. I paid both in the last 2 days. $88 and $230. (the i130 costs $420 but you obviously already paid that)

No I didn't they ever confirm until package is reviewed. I know it was delivered on the 10th.

QUICK QUESTION...

i called NVC today and ask for a case status update. i've sent my IV packet last week. the operator i spoke with said that my case has been expedited and was sent the the Embassy of The Philippines... i asked if the case was complete and they said NO, it has been expedited so it was sent to the Embassy already.. so can someone tell me what would be the next step? i thought it would be an interview appointment, but the operator said she is not sure because the Embassy will be the one who will say what the next step would be?

i-130 for spouse

August 23, 2012 - Sent I-130

August 28, 2012 - NOA1 via email

September 25, 2012 - NOA1 hardcopy received

November 21, 2012 - NOA2 via email

When an expedite is involved before a case complete, there's two possibilities and it varies by consulate/embassy:

1. They'll request you bring any unfinished packages (AOS, IV) to the interview.

2. They'll request you mail in any unfinished packages before the interview.

Once the package has been mailed to the consulate/embassy, give it a few days, then call up DOS to see if the package has been received and entered into their system. Once it has, contact the consulate/embassy on the next step. They'll tell you what to do.

Usually, ya got to wait on the IV Unit Opening the casefile

then the IV Unit scheduling an appointment.

Anything missing at NVC you bring in to the IV Unit on interview day.

However - since yer headed to Manila IV - you should learn more about the ustraveldocs website - you can actually register there and schedule yer own appointment . This happened last month to another CR-1 chaser with an expedite to Manila, as well.

you should register at ustraveldocs website and schedule it yerself.

Saylin, I know we are not doing IR-1, and our numbers may ruin your averages, but feel free to update us in your spreadsheet if you want to.

I gave them both email addresses (they had mine already) Do I send DE-3032 email right away, since it's taking them long to accept it? Or do I wait for an email from them?

Edit: Oh, I can't wait, I am going to send it right away (just checked post 1)!

Do I send DE-3032 email right away, since it's taking them long to accept it? Or do I wait for an email from them?

So anxious these days....we got case complete on June 13th and still no confirmation email from NVC! This waiting seems to be the hardest of all! I've been calling the NVC everyday and they said it should be coming soon....called the DOS and they said that our case has not been sent to Montreal yet. Come on people!!

Sorry, just had to vent to people who can feel my pain and know what I am talking about.

I got my NOA 2 on JUNE 5..now waiting for Case #..? how long does it take to get the case #...? I already called NVC but they r saying they still didn't get my file in there system,,,
