It's been a while since I was on here. I got through AOS and the DS-260 really quick. Surprisingly my IV documents were a major hold-up. There was nothing wrong with them it just took forever to get them reviewed. I waited for a couple of weeks then when it wasn't happening I called and talked to a supervisor (as per Darnell's advice). The supervisor said we had better re-send them. Did that and waited another three weeks for them to be reviewed.

Finally reviewed and of course all was fine. We spent the last two and a half weeks in Kentucky with friends and family.

Now we have an interview date in Montreal for July 17. I expect our challenge will be domicile. We have done what we can but will wait and see.

As I understand we can expect to either be approved - in which case they will keep my passport and send it along later - or denied pending more proof of domicile and then I will have to send in the proof and my passport. I am assuming that I would not be required to do a second interview though. Is that correct?

i read about it ....and administrative processing doesn't apply to cr1 visas....just k1's....so could it be a mistake?

I would suggest calling up NVC pronto and ask about it.

I just called and received my case # (NVC received application May 27). Looks like it was entered on the 6th of June based on the case number. How long does it take to get a Invoice ID? :\ I haven't received any e-mails.

Call, call, call!

They said YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woohoo, congrats!

Grats on the case complete and interview date!

Don't think I've ever seen a second interview in Canada, so I'd say no. If they're not happy with domicile, then they'll just request more documents.

I sent the optin email last night and received the reply from NVC this afternoon. I went to the payment portal for the payment but I could not. I selected the icon and click the pay fee button but nothing came up till now. Is that normal ? And do I have to wait for a few days? Kindly suggest.

Thank you.

You're signing into the payment portal and not the online forms portal, right? And you're using IE, right?
