Hello everyone! smile.png Checking in here too.

We just got the emails from NVC a few hours ago. However, they have one word on my address (the beneficiary) misspelled. Can we get it fixed by calling them? Or is there a process for it?

And in the email, we have the invoice for the AOS already but when we try to sign in to the payment portal it's still saying "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information." sad.png Is it normal that people get the email but the payment portal is updated later? Will it show up Monday since there will be maintenance tomorrow? I'm getting anxious because of it. Please help! Thank you!

Yes, you can call NVC and give them the correct address. They had my husband's wrong, too, and that's what I did.

I have the issue and our timelines are simillar(case received on 5/17/13, case # assigned on 5/29/13, cant assess the payment portal since 6/6/13, and received the AOS invoice and DS 3032 by email this afternoon). sad.png

I am quiet nervous now because it sound so strange to me. I dont know how effective and quick the alternative payment method will be.

Guys, pls we need your inputs.

Thanks!!

Hi Bismark! I called NVC and the lady said to give it 24 hours to show up in the payment portal. But since there will be maintenance tomorrow, ours might show up Sunday/Monday. smile.png

It can take a day or two for it to appear once you've gotten the invoice. Just to be sure though, you're using IE to log into the payment portal, right?

Good Morning Saylin,

I believe I am done venting so lets get down to business.

I was able to call the US Embassy in France and actually talk to somebody who knows about the case. He stated that my wife has been honest and we should have a Visa issued in about 3 days ClockWatch2.gif with no guarantee of course. So should I be jumping for joy? dancin5hr.gif I don't think so because of what happened before. The good news is my wife has still been working and saving money over the last 6 months and will be able to continue to work until she gets her visa.

have a great weekend

yes, somehow the TPC got an interview at the US Embassy, and we found this out the last time my wife had her visitors visa approved. Well at this point in time I am done venting, The good news is, I have been able to call the Embassy on the telephone and was able to talk to somebody at the Embassy. It is a secret phone number that is not made public that we got when they sent my wife an email. they said we should have a positive issue in 3 days. So next week we should hear the good news. I hope so! and thank you for your reply and look forward to you next.

Well, that's good, some movement.

I hope 'posivite issue' = 'visa issuance', really !!

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Well, the fact that a REAL person (and not just some email) said it would be issued, that does indicate good news. I'll keep my fingers crossed that she gets it by the end of next week.

And that's definitely good that your wife was able to continue working throughout all of this and keep saving money.

Keep us updated if she receives anything ;)

For checklists, you can use either the cover sheet that comes with the checklist or the respective cover sheet from the payment portal (AOS checklist: AOS cover sheet, IV checklist: IV cover sheet). Up to you which you choose.
