I still can't get a confirmation from NVC that our case is there. Urgh!

However, our congressional liaison informed me that NVC told her on 6/5 that the file is at NVC, but could be another couple of weeks before it's assigned to someone. Can they not tell me it's there until it's assigned? Dunno.

But, she also told me about confusion at the local office, where her liaison there first told her the file is going to NVC, then few days later to NRC, to which she raised red flags, and then he again confirmed it'll go to NVC. So, is it really at NVC, do they have the same confusion going on - who knows at this point. Until I can get a confirmation myself from someone at NVC, I'll keep bugging them.

Of all the 2013 filers from Saylin's spreadsheet, we officially now have just one other case that waited longer than us (65+ days) to get to NVC - luisa1625, 93 days - Ouch!

That's what I thought, too, but they don't see it.

Just called again, they checked with a supervisor, and he can't see it in the system either.

Oh, and she (the first operator) did confirm that they "usually should be able to" see it if it's in the building even before it's assigned.

So, unless the congressional folk have some super-secret-special person they talk to at NVC, that can see when the truck pulls up to the building, before anyone else can see any of those papers, I don't know how we get different responses.

Usually takes 10 business days. That's how long mine took. If you're only on day 7, wait till day 14.

That's a bummer. Is it possible congressional liaison was going by the date it was delivered (tracking of package)?

I can understand how frustrating it can be.

You should definitely talk to Congressional folks and sort this out.

Sounds like a false checklist based on them reviewing (and accepting) your IV package. Call up to confirm!

NOA2 Approved on March 21th and still waiting for case to be completed. After sending the last bunch of paperwork they sent an email saying I needed to send AGAIN the marriage certificate (3th marriage certificate we sent since we started the process) and the affidavit of support. Hope I get case complete soon so I can get an early interview. So freaking tired of this!

Good luck to all of you!
