Nope that's what I mean. You may or may not get an email stating they accepted the ds-3032. I did get an email saying my IV bill had been invoiced but that was it.

I have not been able to access the payment portal since yesterday.... YAY! I can't stop myself from checking, though. <- that's how I feel.... I can't wait to see if it's just the AOS or if it's both that are getting invoiced!

hi , so i've been looking around on forums to try and locate a form i 864 old version but all i could find and dowmnolad was one that says it expires 9/20/2012 . could it be the right one? everyone is talking about a 06/23/2013 expiration date...is there such a form? could someone post it here? thank you!

Aargh! I am so angry with the NVC right now. My husband called them this evening to inquire about the status of our case, and he was told that the IV package has not been accepted yet because 1) they have not received my birth certificate and 2) they want proof that I am allowed to work in Germany. The problem is that Finland does not issue birth certificates anymore, we use extracts from the population registry (virkatodistus in Finnish) and the NVC knows this, it's explained in their own reciprocity schedules! As for my work permit, I obviously don't have one (and why do they care anyway?) - I would have thought that the NVC staff knows that EU citizens are allowed to work anywhere in the EU?!?

I already called the NVC back and the operator promised to get someone to have another look at the birth certificate issue. I hope it can be sorted out soon. Does anyone have any ideas about what to do with the work permit issue? I have already contacted my employer and asked for a letter explaining my status. I would of course attach the relevant legislation to the letter and send the package to the NVC, but since I am currently on vacation, I won't be able to get the letter before next week and I'd rather have this issue solved before then. Is there anything I can say to the NVC on the phone to get them to drop this issue?

Athena same thing happened to me, except instead of birth certificate they said I did not sent marriage certificate. Talked to them and had to get a supervisor review. Funny thing is when I talked to them they said that I needed to get that exact paper, and when I asked that so you have my birth certificate they said yes. To which I could tell them that then you also have my marriage certificate since it is the same paper... But still have to wait for a supervisor review.

Being we are going through the consulate in Morocco.... I am curious if I should include with the IV packet an evolution of relationship letter and more Skype logs from when we left off when we sent the I-130 in. Any recommendations? I have a week or so before some of his documents arrive here....

IMO, and others, DS-230/IV Set is the last chance you get to add in more bonafide marriage evidence. So, if'n you feel the need, by all means load it up.

How does one get to talk to a supervisor? My husband already asked to speak with one, and he was refused.

Many times the supervisors are engaged, or at meetings. You have to keep trying. Call at different times of day. If/when you have a supervisor looking at stuff for you (and not just a simple thing) then (IMO) stick with that supervisor, asking for that supervisor each time until something is resolved, and

make note of the supervisor's working hours.

I had a supervisor looking at stuff for me in May Month, she worked in the last shift, and was off on Wednesdays. So even knowing all this, I wasn't able to get her 100 percent of the time. It was more like 25 percent of the time that I called in, asking for her. But even then, she was able to resolve some things for me in a timely fashion..

AOS & IV bill generated on payment portal but yet to receive any email.

Have not received DS3032 accepted email but I see IV bill generated. Is it normal?

I had send an email to remove lawyer from the case and appointed petitioner as a choice of agent and received an email confirming that Lawyer has been removed from the case, further communication will now be directed to petitioner. is that a formal 3032 acceptance confirmation or I should have separate email?

Wow - some issues. let's see.

1. ds-3032 not initially needed when a G-28 was in place.

2. AOS and IV fee bills show up simultaneously when a G-28 is in place

3. AOS and IV fee bills via email are usually sent to the lawyer.

4. if the AOS and IV fee bills seem 'payable' at the portal - pay them and not wait on the email versions.

5. Must submit an attorney withdrawal letter into NVC - is best to attach a signed DS-3032 to it.

IMO, pay now if you can. Submit the DS-3032 with the IV set.

Hello all! Im hoping someone can assist me! We are at the NVC stage waiting for AOS & IV to be billed, I previously submitted a expedite request and was told by NVC that they forwarded my request to Managua Embassy/ Cunsulate. Today while trying to sign in to the payment portal it gave me this message, does this mean our expedite request was approved ???

The National Visa Center has forwarded your file to the US Embassy/Consulate where you are applying for an immigrant visa. Any other required fees must now be paid directly at the Embassy or Consulate at the time of your interview.

Please contact the US Embassy/Consulate if you have any questions. You can find the contact information by consulting this list of US Embassy/Consulate websites.

Yup. Expect now to wait up to 2 weeks whilst the casefile is taken out of the review section and bundled up to go out to the IV unit, and the IV unit receive it.

Once the IV unit receives it, you can continue on with Immigrant Visa Processing.

How to find out? Call the DoS Hotline (# in my profile, at the bottom), get a human, ask for casefile status, and when you hear 'casefile opened' then the IV unit is ready to continue your immigrant visa processing.

Now waiting for AOS to be billed and DS 3032 be approved.. Hoping for case complete this month!

I am getting this message today! I know its a good news! Do you know when i should check back for the fews? Would it be today or it will take 2 to 3 days?

IV package reviewed. AOS still on hold because of the f****** new form I thought I would never say such a thing, but even the Serbian Government is more efficient than the one in the US!

So now that I'm awake I reread your entire post again. I agree with Darnell and you should call and make sure your attorney isn't attached anymore and just pay the bills since they are there.

I called them twice to ask who is the choice of agent on file and they said its petitioner. So I guess I am ok there. I even received an email from NVC stating same.

I will just go ahead and pay the bills.

Now one more question...

Will I get any check list from NVC? to obtain PCC from India(Gujarat in particular - Mumbai consulate) they need check list stating PCC and beneficiary's name.
