Hello Everyone,

My husband is about to get a job offer (we hope) and his biometric appointment is 6/19/13 in Elizabeth. We filed our AOS/EAD on 5/14. Does anyone know how long it take after biometrics. Basically, when can he estimate he will be available for work?

Many, many thanks to anyone who gives us some feedback!!

When you do your biometrics doesn't change the timeline, and neither does your location. EAD is approved at NBC and you can expect it 70-90 days from when you first filed. Early bio doesn't speed it up. So 2.5 more months to go.

So true that early-walk in's for bio's do not help squat. We recently had our bio's done in Buena Park, CA and I spoke to the security guard what he has seen and experienced (BTW - he has no problem allowing bio's in before the scheduled day and routinly allows it), then I spoke to the technician about what advantage is there for early walk-in's and the response was none, nada! She said that the system is designed more or less on a que where it forwards the collected bio information to the next processing step at the time of the scheduled appointment date, weather or not it is 2 weeks early the information basically is captured but is not forwarded for processing.
