i got package and interview date? (help)

hello every one ,,,,, i got a package from the embassy in amman jordan , has checklist ,,,and interview date in 24 jul 2007 ....... they asked to bring those with me to the interview

1. DS-230 part 1&2

2.all the original documents

3. I-864 signed it by my wife .

4.police certificate

5.medical examination report

6. passport valid for six months and two photographs

i got three questions

1. do i have to take pic. and e-mails and all that stuff with me to the interview ? cause i already got i-130 approval for relative ,,,

2. when should i get the medecal examination done ,,, cause i heard that can get expire is that true?

3. it took me two years guys... and i have to wait 8 more months ,,,, but howlong time do you guys think it will take after the interview ? any one been there ,any ideas?

1. yes take pictures, emails, all that stuff with you...Our packet didn't say to bring it and what we did bring wasn't enough.

2. Get the medical exam done fairly close to the interview date. Yes it does expire (noor says he thinks it was good for 1 year but he's not sure)

3. It can be any time after the interview. It depends on wether they put you on AR or not and if they require more information. Some people get their visas that day (very rare) and some people have waited for 1 year or longer. It is different for each case.

Interview-December 2005

Visa approved-December 2005, 1 week later after supplying "more information"

Arrived U.S.A.-December 2005

Removed Conditions-September 2008

Divorced in December 2013

12/28/06 - got married :)

02/05/07 - I-130 NOA1

02/21/07 - I-129 NOA1

04/09/07 - I-130 and I-129F approval email sent!!!!

04/26/07 - Packet 3 received

06/16/07 - Medical Examination

06/26/07 - Packet 3 SUBMITTED FINALLY!!!!

07/07/07 - Received pkt 4

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

07/29/07 - interview.

yep as much as that sucks it is very normal. Some people have interviews scheduled 1 year from now.. some of them get lucky and get bumped up and some of them have to wait it out.. it is such a grueling process.
