Hi,

So our case is now with the Embassy in Argentina and everything is progressing well enough. The only thing is that I am moving here in the USA. I went to do my change of address on the USCIS website and was informed that I can only do that if i have a pending petition which i do not.

Then I was reading about the form i-865 but that is for persons who are now leagal residents and he is not yet in the united states. how should I deal with this? I pasted below the directions i was given... however like it says its for someone who has become a permanent resident...

I just want to do this correctly...

please help

USCIS Online Change of Address

U.S. Citizens who do not have an application or petition pending with USCIS are only legally required to notify USCIS of a change of address if they have previously submitted a Form I-864 on behalf of someone who has become a permanent resident. If you have previously submitted a Form I-864 for someone who immigrated to the U.S., you must complete a Form I-865 within ten days of the completion of your move.
