Im afraid that my wife won't receive her visa by july 8, because st. lukes had told her that her medical expires on july 8. this will be her 3rd time doing her medical if she doesn't receive her visa by then (which is ridiculous).

Embassy should atleast send us an e-mail on whats going on with our case.

Why has she done her medical twice? It can take a couple weeks for the visa to be processed if everything went well but when you're coming close to a month they may be

checking on a couple things... Obviously they kept her passport so everything should be good.

My wife didn't pass the first time she did her medical because St. lukes seen something in her Xray, so she had to undergo a 6 month treatment.

after her 6 month treatment got done, she did a 2nd medical to see if everything was good, she passed!

now its coming to a 3rd , hopefully not. idk what the outcome will be =(

Contact? no, i mean specifically YOU, the USCitizen, walking in to the US Embassy in Manila during an American Citizen Services appointment and asking what's what with one of the Vice Consuls there.

That only works, IMO, if'n yer still in the RoP. Otherwise, why to make another grueling flight in ?

I've e-mailed them nearly 2 weeks ago and yet still no response.

There are numerous reports of the Petitioner, the USCitizen, emailing often.

When I read the above, it reads like 'I emailed them once, they blew me off, and I never followed up'

i have called them a few times now and all they tell me is it's under AP and there is no turn around time as to when it will be issued.

my wife has also been calling them and in fact yesterday the operator had told her that they will contact the consular and will forward our case to the "case agent"

they told my wife to call back next tue or wed for a follow up.

i'll call the embassy again on monday to see what's going on.
