Here ya go:

For DOS:

This is where you will be able to find out if your case was received at the Embassy/Consulate. They will not see your case in their system until the NVC has logged it in and applied a case number to it.

Press 1 for the Main Menu
Press 4 for Foreigners Applying To Come To the US
Press 2 for Immigrant Visas (yeah, yeah - we know they're not really)
Press 3 for Family or Employer Based Visas
Press 2 for Fiance(e) visas
Press 0 for an Operator

Well then ... be patient. The embassy is going to do its thing no matter. Calling DOS isn't going to get you any new answers.

Were there any questions they focused on during the interview? Is your Affidavit of Support just above the minimum required? Did your spouse mention anything during the interview that might have required another background check?

Sometimes the Embassy orders the applicant's CENMAR, NBI clearance, birth certificate, etc. It can delay things a few weeks.

By now, you should be much closer to visa delivery.

Hang in there...and keep checking with the Embassy.

... just grabbing at straws as to any reason for AP. Like Tahoma said it could be NSO or NBI document questions and they are waiting for newe ones. Just never know.
