HI,

Fiance is here on touristic visa (yes we got engaged after he came)

He wants to apply for AP travel document.

It asks for exact dates- do we need to have the EXACT dates?

Also- for supporting documents I think they want a letter showing how he qualifies for AP.... Im confused- any clarification here?

Nevermind what I said previously, I see other post with you mentioning marriage. Filing for AP is free with the AOS packet, there is no need for specific dates. I think we just put something like any time and purpose to visit family. Remember, he cannot leave the country prior to receiving the AP document. If he has any overstay that would qualify for a ban he will not be permitted to re-enter the US even with the AP document.

Your fiancée does not qualify for AP. A fiancé or boyfriend cannot get AP. In your case, he needs to be a husband applying to adjust his status in order to qualify for AP.

At the end of your fiancé's allowable time in the US, he must leave the US.

Thank you.

Yes when I said fiance- I meant we are getting married in less than a week... and decided that recently (after he was here for 2months).

You said "any time" for date? and it worked? :P

I understand that you misunderstood because I didnt fully write in the post the description- he will be my husband in less than a week :P

You are probably filling out the wrong part of the form. Part 4 is skipped for advance parole.

Im concerned about Part 7 where it states:

" On a separate sheet of paper, explain how you qualify for AP document and what circumstances warrant an issuance of AP. Include copies of any documents you wish considered"

It says see the instructions. The instructions say that no explanation is needed.

Does overstaying while applying for AOS mean denial of reentry even with AP??!
