Well I managed to pack a box of 103 CD's and post it through http://www.postagesupermarket.com/index.php to the United States. This website was a lot cheaper than the main courier websites. Was quoted over £80 through Parcelforce and through the site above I got it for £38.90, and the funny thing is, that it was Parcelforce who collected the parcel. The boxed weighed around 10kg.....

On the box I had to attach three commercial invoices plus a profoma form for customs. Fingers crossed it makes it to hubby because if it does I will be sending a few more personal effects this way.......

I don't know if it's too late to reply, but, I am moving to Cleveland from the UK, and got a good quote with FedEx freight over the phone, super nice people - they have a list of what`s prohibited, etc.

Give em' a try on 0845 6070 809.

I DO NOT work for FedEx.
