Moving and Traveling Before AOS

Hi everyone,

I have a couple questions about the period of time between POE and AOS. I've searched, but just want to be sure.

1. My fiance wants to move to another state but is waiting until our K1 is approved and we're married. It would probably be from Arizona to Colorado. I have read that changing states during the AOS process would be a bad idea. Is this true? Would we have to do it in the first 90 days or wait until the AOS has been approved?

2. Is there any way to leave the country temporarily before AOS is approved? I don't plan to, but my mother's health is not great and I am her only family. I am a little worried about not being able to come back to Canada during the process if she needs me. If there isn't a way, I will understand and just try to file ASAP. But I just want to know if there are options because it might make both her and I feel a bit better to know they exist.
