I asked OH (the USC) if he wanted to do anything for Thanksgiving. His reply was "Why would I want to celebrate the theft of a continent from people who were kind enough to invite the English to dinner?". Could you have the "no turkey" option in your poll please Jenn? ;):jest:

People will come over at 2 and stay til they are completely no longer welcome, and all I want to do is go see "For Your Consideration" with my mom. But all this time in my parents' house is making me regress, clearly...

My in-laws have decided to be snowbirds since retiring, so no big family gig. We're flexible to timetable, which will probably be getting the bird in around noon and eating when it's done. :lol:

As for festivities, as soon as we wake up a bit more. ;)

Electricity is really just organized lightning.

Son-in-law's grandma is arriving about 11am. I will drive her and the Aunty down to Salem (hour away) to the Kids house.. (Daughter and new Husband) for their first thanksgiving in their new home...

Who actually knows when the food will be ready.. but seeing my daughter is a Chef... and she has decided to cook Cornish game hen instead.. I think it may be a rather tastey and interesting Thanksgiving...

If her timing is right . We hope to eat about 1ish.. then .. hang around for a short time... Grandma is 83... and the Aunt is Downs syndrome... so entertainment will be a tad low... ..

Happy Thanksgiving to all... Those who have to travel.. Please return home safe...
