Hello all,

I was wondering if anybody know the requirements for a child of 3 years old at the CFO who will be accompany his mother under K2 visa.

Also....How early is advised to arrive for an afternoon slot?

Thanks in advance!

For children 12 years old and below are exempted from attending the PDOS. They must, however, be registered, even if by proxy.

You have to go as early as 4 in the morning because slots get filled fast. Fiancee's take the same seminar as spouses. So if 30 people line up early in the morning which is what usually happens, you won't get any slots if you show up late. When I went to CFO a few weeks ago, the line was already crazy long by 5 am.

My fiance was working abroad in Canada when she was approved for her visa. She chose to go home for the holidays and was to leave a few hours ago to fly to Los Angeles. Needles to say she was not allowed on the plane because of this CFO seminar, which we had no clue about since she was abroad. Now she has to hope to get in the first available seminar with all the requirements when it is now the middle of the night and how can you get passport pics etc. We are to be getting married on Friday and very pressed for time. Phil airlines at least rebooked her for the next flight out but will she receive her sticker and certificate same day? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Also, her visa was issued 12/09 and she only went home for a few weeks. If she would have just come here straight away from Canada she wouldnt have had to do the seminar so why are they doing this? She hasn't lived in the Philippines in over 8 years

Is she still a Filipino Citizen (Philippine Passport Holder)? If so, that may be the case.

Anyway, yes, she will be able to get the cfo certificate and sticker the same day. Provided that she's able to get in the limited slots. It will take a half day to complete everything.

-5am line up for a CFO seminar slot

-7am registration

-9am CFO Seminar / Counseling

- About 1:30pm releasing of certificate / cfo sticker

Hope this info helps. smile.png

PS. Congrats on the Visa and Best wishes! :)

Yup CFO is a pain in the butt for sure, if she had her green card she could have traveled home without CFO issues when leaving again.

Hopefully she will get things handled quickly.

thanks, thats a big help with the time line you provided. she was planning on going around 7 so it would have been too late. I just told her she needs to be there in 1 1/2 hours to get in line. I just don't know where she will get passport pics. She has some left over from the US visa interview so maybe they will accept those.

CFO has nothing to do with the embassy, you will have to go back to the CFO office to get your sticker once you get your passport with visa back.

Your visa packet with your passport will be delivered by 2go, or you'll pick it up from 2Go (depending on which method you chose if it's delivery or pick-up). You will have to go to CFO carrying your passport with you, don't forget to bring the CFO certificate AND receipt. You have to present it to them and they will affix the Emigrant Sticker on your passport. You don't have to pay anything at this point.

You can get your CFO sticker at any of the three locations; CEBU CFO, Manila CFO or NAIA CFO desk (see instructions below)

You can get your CFO sticker (be sure to bring your certificate with you if you are going to get the sticker at the airport for that matter all locations require your certificate for processing) at Manila NIAI Term 1. NIAI office request that you call ahead 2-3 days to make an appointment. The airport location is open from 5am till 12 midnight - CFO NAIA desk is at terminal 1 (one)... beside TIEZA travel tax desk... between the entrance doors with the x-ray / conveyor machines... CFO NAIA: 632-879-5685 or 02-879-5685 or 632-879-5685

I'm having trouble getting an email from CFO with appointment options. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

The web site says "No registration required for CFO PDOS. Huh?

But then these are part of the registration requirements.

Original and photocopy of passport (must be valid about six months before date of travel)

Original and photocopy of visa

HUH?

I do everything I think I'm suppose to do and it tells me to check my email for further instructions.

But nothing ever comes

All I want for right now is an appointment for mid-may.

Thank you for listening

You just go to the CFO website and set up and appointment there.

My fiancé did this is November and I did it also from USA. I was able to set up 3 appointments in one day using different email address, I just put random pictures on the appointment forum....

Follow the link below, next to the twisting arrow, select the link and go to the CFO tab. There are step by step instructions for you to follow. You are using old instructions.
