This is my first time to post my story here but I've been reading a lot here and it helped me get informed during my CR1 process. I want to share my journey as well and hopefully will help you as well. idea9dv.gif

To all who are waiting for things to happen, just keep on praying and keep yourself busy to minimize the agony of waiting. Read the Bible everyday and listen/read Dale Carnegie's book How to Stop Worrying and Start Living. This helped me a lot during the depressing time of waiting. God bless us all and do great things to give Filipinos a good name. idea9dv.gif

Friday, February 01, 2013 Called NVC and agent said that interview will be on March 4, 6:15 am. Packet 4 received. Monday, February 04, 2013 Day 1 of Medical Exam. Wednesday, February 06, 2013 Day 2 of Medical Exam. Need sputum test. =( Tuesday, February 12, 2013 Day 1 of sputum test. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 Day 2 of sputum test. Thursday, February 14, 2013 Day 3 of sputum test. Tuesday, February 19, 2013 AFB smear is negative. Praise God! =) Friday, April 12, 2013 Received a call from SLEC, the lady told me that another test was done and needs to wait until April 16 for the result. Monday, April 15, 2013 Called SLEC for I was so anxious about the result. Praise God! I was told that I can come to have my vaccinations on April 17 but I asked if it can be done earlier for I already booked an interview on the 18th. The guy said I can come tomorrow. Tuesday, April 16, 2013 Arrived at SLEC around 9 am only to find out around noon that the doctor who's going to give the evaluation will arrived around 1 pm so they can only have the result at 3 pm. I'm a little bit disappointed but not much. What is waiting for the whole day with a good result compared to the 8 weeks of agony? Nothing, right?! =) So I returned to SLEC at around 3 pm I guess, asked the receptionist if they have my assessment and said that it just came in to their system. So they asked to pay for another pregnancy test, waited for the result and then headed to the vaccination room. After that I went to the 1st floor for the release of my medical. I finished my medical at around 7 pm if I remember it correctly. I did not really tracked the time anymore to avoid annoyance because of wasting my time waiting for the doctor. I just want to be happy that day for I'll just a few steps away from my dream. =) Thursday, April 18, 2013 Interview day! I went there around 5:15 am and my schedule is 6:30, there's already a long queue when I arrived. I was surprised to see Sir Chief/Richard Yap suddenly fell in line when we were near the entrance. He's cute and macho but he seems shy and doesn't smile. He's with his wife and daughter. I wasn't able to know the result that day because medical result was not in their hands during the interviews though SLEC said that the result was already in the embassy around 7 am. So I was told to wait for their call. Wednesday, April 24, 2013 Visa status now is ISSUED. Friday, April 26, 2013 Visa is out for delivery. Saturday, April 27, 2013 I woke up at 5 am and wasn't able to sleep anymore. I waited until 8 am and called 2Go in our area to check if they already have my visa packet. The lady said that they have it and will be delivered around in the afternoon. I told the lady that I will just pick it up. So I arrived around 9 am in their office and got my visa packet. Praise the Lord! The long wait is over. =) Tuesday, May 07, 2013 Took the Hawaiian Airlines to go to Las Vegas, had my port of entry in Hawaii. America here I come! =) The health officer in Hawaii told me to go to health district in LV for clearance. Friday, May 10, 2013 Went to CDC at Shadow Lane, they required me for another sputum culture. Paid $200, this includes the x-ray after the culture. Friday, May 17, 2013 Got my Social Security Number! Just 10 days after my arrival. Tuesday, May 28, 2013 Got my Green Card! 21 days after my arrival. Everything is fast now, God really knows how to balance things. I waited too long in the Philippines but now He's making things fast. Thank You Lord. =)

I will post a detailed journey in getting Singapore Police Clearance and other stuffs in my own blog, http://hisplansareperfect.blogspot.com/ soon.
