CONFUSED ABOUT NEW I-864 FORM?

Hey guys, so I saw this on the USCIS webpage:

Edition Date:

03/22/13. USCIS will accept previous editions dated 09/19/11 until June 23, 2013. After June 23, 2013, USCIS will only accept the 03/22/13 edition.

And I'm totally confused because I sent my petition in January, can I still send the old AOS I-864 form? Because I'm in the NVC stage now and if I get lucky they'll have my case # and invoice me the AOS bill by next week, so that's why I'm confused. Please help!

Thanks!

Be sure to read it fully and understand your obligations under this form, it can be the cause of a lot of stress if things do not work out and what can happen to you, your life and your children if you have any, to think prenup, no offense but I hope you rad and understand the form and it's obligations.

Yes I understand that, but can I use the old one if I get the AOS bill invoiced before the 22nd of June?

What's wrong with using the new one?

NVC are taking a long time to review them because USCIS hasn't trained them.

IMO, use the old version in sending the AOS packet to NVC before June 23 while use the new version during the Consulate interview.. In that way, your AOS will be reviewed as soon as it will be entered into their system before June 23.. If you use the new version now, your AOS packet will be put on hold just like the rest including mine, w/ no definite timeframe as to when it will be reviewed accdg to NVC when I called 2 days ago..

Your choice.. really.. cray5ol.gif

NVC are taking a long time to review them because USCIS hasn't trained them.
