OK,

After searching around, I have found several threads with the same question of what this means....I found a pattern of these people getting RFEs (and a couple approvals) from 1 to 6 days after seeing this on the USCIS website...So Serpentine is seeing future RFEs is my guess, please let us know if they change in the next few days :

"I went on the USCIS site today to check the status of our case and i got the below message when i called the center they too could not find our case and said they had to escalate the call and now i have to wait 1 hr to hear back from them. Please let me know if any of you have experienced anything like this and what it could mean?"

  • "At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.

To view the status of a case, please enter the corresponding application receipt number. The 13-character application receipt number can be found on application notices you have received from the USCIS. It begins with three letters such as (EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC). Dashes ("-") should be omitted when entering a receipt number. However, all other characters, including asterisks ("*"), can be included if listed on your notice as part of the receipt number."

Yes. Usually an RFE in two days. I noticed the pattern too.

Any visajourney veterans want to apply? Someone needs to make a change to the system. Everyone here know how agonising the waiting is.

Even though I've only been waiting for three months, it's been so hard. I can only imagine how hard it is for all of you. Here's hoping to approvals for everyone waiting at TSC/VSC soon.

Sooo not sure if the numbers really do mean something..but the number right after our case (we end in 188 and they end in 189) got an RFE today...Maybe approvals take longer to process and some of us will see more action tomorrow!? I'm sure that might be too much optimism though :)

We have a NOA1 date of December 13.

Yes...this is going by Igors list ...which is around 6-7% of the real number of petitions for the Country

Thats right just us members smile.png

I think someone worked out that VJ members are around 6% of the total applicants that apply to USCIS so really not many!

thanks for the info guys. :)

Thanks for confirming this! Every little bit of info helps us! A little more light in this darkness here at TSC....

interesting...thanks for posting the analysis. I did feel a bit stalkerish but I was plugging in numbers before and after mine - interesting to see how many other types of applications are there...not as many I-129Fs as I thought there would be...

I'm new here - has anyone determined what it means for the people that have their status of their Alien Reg # was changed at the end of January. Was that a glitch or something?

I have noticed that as well. Probably the adjustors at TSC already knew how to process those types of visas and are slow with the I-129fs because they had to be trained on them.
