Whaddya mean? We messaged them asking if we've been assigned an adjudicator as some VJ people have reports saying they have, she replied back saying "Your case has been assigned an adjudicator". Not that it's approved yet, though I wish she did!

Oh and not to say "I told you so" to all of the CSC filers who said VSC was "slow but steady" and did them in order but.. no, they don't. They pull exactly the same kinda ####### CSC did and I've always said that.

I agree, I remember some CSC people saying "I wish I was at VSC, at least they are steady" LOL What I would give to be a CSC filer...I would literally be married right now...ranting33va.gifranting33va.gif

Yeah I remember that too. It goes back and forth like that all the time, from what I hear. Some CSC poster made a chart going back 2 years, and we could see the up and down pattern for both centers. Seems it never is the case where both centers are cranking them out at the same time.

As far as processing them out of order, I'm guessing one or two of the adjuctators at VSC that are processing K-1's are done with their 2012/January 2013 stash since the rest were sent to TSC or are with other VSC adjuctators, and that is why we see some February approvals.

HAHA exactly!! I was in the december forum first but disabled to get email notifications from there anymore since it was too sad to see that they already have interview appointments.

Our congressional representative just replied back to us saying that we have been assigned an adjudicator.

Hope mine is in the hands of an adjudicator as well. My congressional rep has not gotten back to me on the issues....I have a Jan 7th NOA 1 receipt date...

By contacting your Senator's or Congressmen's office. They have the ability to get more information than you and I are given by the USCIS. Generally they talk to a liaison at the center, in this case Texas. We just get to basically talk to a customer service rep.

I emailed and wrote to both senator and congressmen in ny but no answer back. should I call? thanks

Hi all - I'm new to this site. What a great site - seems like a ton of people with a lot more knowledge to how to get info. :) We have an attorney but I'm wondering if we should also contact our Senator or Congressman...this delay has been super depressing as it is for everyone - it's nice to know we aren't alone. :)

btw - Azsara, KathaK, Valia and Serghei - we are also another NJ couple :) I'm not sure what exact date to go by but our receipt date was 1/18/13 and the notice date was 1/23...very similar to Azsara.

Hopefully everyone gets approved soon. :)

Oh one more thing - I was transferred from Vermont with the masses to Texas. Should I change that in my profile? Also, do I need to fill out some timeline somewhere to help people? Thanks in advance! :)

Don't hold your breath waiting for Schumer or Gillibrand. It's clear Schumer doesn't care about us seeing as he left out fiance and spouse visas from the immigration reform bill.

You're best bet is with your local rep. He/She represents thousands of people as opposed to millions.

I personally am of the opinion that those transferred to Texas should update their timeline to reflect TSC being their service center, although some people disagree. Click on "Immigration Timelines" in the blue toolbar at the top of the page, then on the left hand side of the page that opens is a link in green that says "Edit / Add My Entry". Click that and fill out your timeline there.

Hmmm so no news about any actual approvals? This is so frustrating, I want so badly to believe that there were approvals today!! No response to my service request today as I was told by the tier 2 rep 2 weeks ago. Looks like tomorrow afternoon will be wasted on hold and filling out release forms for senators, congressmen etc. Not what I wanted to do on my Friday afternoon, can't these guys just get it together!!?? Really hoping that actual approval notices roll out tonight, that would make me (and I think most of us) feel so much betttttttttter.
