Yes, you are right. I checked 320 numbers before mine and 350 after mine. From about 700 case numbers , there are only 1 before mine also transferred , 2 still in VSC , 3 after me approved in December i129f

Most of the other numbers are DACA , transferred on 21 may , 90% of case numbers.

I am 12/5/12 NOA 1 and we are the second transferred case. But I don't think that they approved them by order or FIFO

You are very right it looks like over 90% of cases transferred were all DACA. I checked from 3000 to 5000 and saw not more than 100 what were I-129F.

Hey LovenHope23... based upon the data I shared the other day... anyone approved based on current numbers should have AT LEAST 1.5 to 2 months (if they rush it a bit) from the approval date until the actual interview date.

So unless you will be visiting for the next 2.5 to 3 months.. you'll be back before your Interview... Hope that helps.

Check the processing times for your Fiance's specific country to see how long the NVC and Consulate scheduling takes.

~ Jan ??,2013 ~ Service Center ~ Vermont I-129F Packet sent

NOTE: Actual sent date unknown due to lawyer negligence - I delivered ALLForms and PAID Lawyer on Nov 7, 2012 - Lawyer kept saying he sent the packet and USCIS must have lost it. When in reality he failed to send the package and only a new copy to USCIS after I made a legal written demand giving him 10 days to perform or return ALL monies paid to him, due to "non-performance".

(IMO it's better to save your money for visits to or from your Fiancé and just fill it out yourself using the K-1 Guide on VJ and Senior Members... They Rock!!!)

The interview date is dependent on where the embassy is...some countries are much faster than others...some countries allow you to schedule a medical as soon as you learn of your mnl #...some require more time...you really need to go to that country's forum here on VJ to get an accurate time frame...

Enigma: Thanks for being so helpful. I really appreciate you reading my posts and helping out. I have booked my ticket for the first week of july.. And im coming back a month and a half after that date. I dont know if I will be getting my NOA2 then, but I wanted to get my NOA2 then leave.. and based off of what everyone said.. i thought maybe i will get my noa2 before july 1st... :(. I hope the embassy in Turkey doesnt have a lot of people scheduled.. cause I wanna have mine :) lol

I chose Ankara Turkey. I dont know if that will be good enough. I checked the schedule too, It was booked till the first week of july.. I hope we get expedited at the NVC process since it took us ... over 5 months.

Guys since we were transferred.. does that mean that they have already done our background check process? I hope so...

I went to my local office yesterday and was told that my background check had been completed on June 3rd. My NOA1 is Dec 20th so if your NOA1 is before mine, I would assume your background check has also been completed. That's just an assumption though.

My fiance is in UAE and they schedule about 2 months after they receive the packet.

You can check here and see about how much time your embassy takes for scheduling interviews off of the Igor's list. you have to do a search for your countries embassy then you can see how much time in between all the steps it takes.

Yeah I know... but what im thinking is that because we were in that backlog and got transferred.. maybe NVC will step it up a bit and transfer it faster? Lets keep our fingers crossed guys...

jdseidel: If you have had your background check one, then it seems to me that you will be getting an approval soon? I thought after the BG check is completed, they send out the decisions? .... Idk what is taking them so long.. but good luck to you!

I think checking he numbers can give you a false hope because an adjudicator gets the petition in batches.

Joy

so for example

If the a dec 15 - dec30 petition was part of a batch from with one adjudicator .. And adjudicator 2 was say dec 1 to dec 12th ... Adjudicator 2 finishes dec 17 th first batch and adjudicator 2 finishes dec1.... So when they say they take them in order it by the batch not one by one.

For example my petition was actually received in dec5 th but a dec 17 th gets notice before me... they had the good fortune of being at he top of an adjudicators pile .. While mine be stuck in the middle of another adjudicator pile .... I th

I feel we need to just be happy they are looking at them!!!!!!

I sure hope I get an approval soon. The local office also told me my case had been "transferred to the I129f Unit". So I guess I'm sitting on a desk in the middle of a giant stack of cases. Thanks for the blessing, I hope you (and everyone else) receives their approval soon as well.
