I take slight offense to your tone. I have 3 separate politician sources telling me the same thing. I have worked hard to update people and do not appreciate you post

Angelina do you really believe this lies that our files are 30 miles away from TSC center? Just think about it, you work in Hartford, CT and your daily work files are in NYC so your company has to transport bits and peaces everyday to Hartford everyday to work with. what kind of business plan is that? I wished you had told Senator Blumenthal's staff member that you are not a child because this story is only told to a child to make him/her feel happy.

Angelina, i appreciate all the leg work you have done to try to help all of us here...without you contacting your reps who knows where and what we would all be thinking now...So, thank you very much for all that you have done to help yourself and us.goofy.gif

Thank you Angelina. Thanks for posting this. Very informing... God bless you.. dancin5hr.gif

Angelina, you are far too kind in helping us VJ members. I wish you nothing but the best in your journey with your loved one.

Thank you once again :)

So within a week, does that mean that we should be getting some approvals??? since our cases will be passed on to a adjudicator?

I just got back from an appointment with my local office. When I mentioned the word transfer, the rep had a look on his face that said "not again". He said whenever they start transferring cases around, things get very confusing and it makes them look very bad (he couldn't have said it any better). He also said that usually it takes congressmen and senators filing inquiries and complaints for them to get their act together. So thanks to everyone who has followed up with their congressional representatives, if you haven't please do so.

As for actual news on my case, he said that my background check had been completed on June 3rd and my case was transferred to the I-129f unit (whatever that is) on June 6th. He didn't have any information on an expected timeline. Based on the information Angelina relayed, I'm guessing my case is sitting in a box waiting to be assigned to an adjudicator. I asked him if there was a way to file a complaint and he said Ombudsman is the method for doing so. Ombudsman is not a way for you to get more information on the status of your case, but it is an oversight and accountability method that we should all use to voice our complaints. It won't do us any good, but maybe it will help for future I-129f filers.

I read somewhere that the files transferred to Texas were supposed to be done by the end of June. Is this not true? Ours wasn't transferred, we have an early Feb NOA1 but now I'm just hoping they don't process LATER ones for a better average and skip ours. I have a feeling the transferred ones will be better off, honestly.

1/31/13 - 129F Sent
2/7/13 - NOA1
** transferred with 2nd group from VSC to TSC in late June
7/9/13 - NOA2 (5 months)

10/02/13 - DS-260 mailed in
10/15/13 - CEAC Status Update (DoS couldn't say what triggered it, did say no interview assigned, but all docs are in)
10/23/13 - Embassy email states they do not have our documents. Poor Steven does 160 again.
10/23/13 - DoS says our case is still "processing" and not "qualified" (interview ready) and to do newest forms.
11/05/13 - CEAC Update. DoS says case is "eligible for interview" and we're waiting on next interview date.
11/08/13 - Another call to DoS (Chris is a nice guy!) and no interview scheduled yet.
11/12/13 - Another call to DoS and no interview scheduled yet.

I think Ms. Angelina said that when we are assigned to a adjudicator.. they have 30 days for a response on our petitions, if i am not mistaken. So hopefully we should hear something by July? ... Still confused.... I can never figure this out.

Angelina,

I too want to say Thank You for all the leg work, head work and hard work you have done! From the Hot updates to even the little tidbits from yourself and others who are diligently and positively working for answers and information on our cases. Thank for each of us wondering and waiting all the information provided is priceless in times like these!

Honestly it's what helped me determine that it will be awhile before our actual Interview even if we are approved this week! So that gave me the confidence to go ahead and book a flight.. lol (Backwards as that sounds.. that "bad news" is Good news and lets me go forward making choices from a place of some peace.. lol)

So "Thank you" about 300 times.. at least.. lol

Big Hug! Keep on trucking!! You're on a roll! Your Fiance is blessed and lucky to have such a dedicated woman at his side!

G.

~ Jan ??,2013 ~ Service Center ~ Vermont I-129F Packet sent

NOTE: Actual sent date unknown due to lawyer negligence - I delivered ALLForms and PAID Lawyer on Nov 7, 2012 - Lawyer kept saying he sent the packet and USCIS must have lost it. When in reality he failed to send the package and only a new copy to USCIS after I made a legal written demand giving him 10 days to perform or return ALL monies paid to him, due to "non-performance".

(IMO it's better to save your money for visits to or from your Fiancé and just fill it out yourself using the K-1 Guide on VJ and Senior Members... They Rock!!!)

One thing they can do, as they have in the past...is direct the NVC to expedite our files as priority when we get to that point...we need to start mentioning this to our Senators whenever we are communicating with them. I will be talking to mine today.

Will they do that? Will they expedite our cases because we have been transferred? I hope so... I have planned a trip :( .. and went with the timeline they posted of 5 months.. :(
