She followed up with an email

Ms. Diana,

Even though we just discussed this over the phone, I will send you this email since I had already started writing it when you called.

Last week, I contacted the USCIS DC headquarters about this case and expressed the Senators concerns about what happened with moving these cases from once service center to another.

Also, I contacted the TSC (Texas Service Center) today and am being told from them that training has been completed, and is ongoing. They do have officers trained on fiancée visa cases and the cases should be moving to the adjudication floor soon.

Your case is in Texas and will be adjudicated shortly. I will check on your case with TSC again on Tuesday (the 11th). Let me know if you hear anything sooner.

Thanks,

Jennie

I have a hot update!!!!!!

I just got off the phone with senator Blumenthals office

Here is the story

They have been trained to take care of the 129 s they are on the floor starting the receding process meaning they are being checked that they are in fact transferred. .. So if you have received a letter it means they have checked you in the system .

Once and during this process they will begin to adjudicate the cases.... The shocking news is that there are 8000 cases that have been transferred

Here is other news I learned. That they do generally start a goal of 5 months but they also say that this can bleed into another month.... So you case isn't considered past the processing time until really 6 months .... She said that its good news that they are trained and ready to go .... Now it's a matter of the order that they are received . She wants me to check in with her next Tuesday . But she says its possible but not gauranteed that it could be process before then....,

Thank you, good luck to us all!

Your Senator is on the ball...unlike mine here in PA...

Its good to know that there are some government officials who do their jobs!

WoooHooo that is great to hear!! **High Five**

Has anyone else gotten any further information to bolster Angelina's experience?? It just seems we get so many mixed responses I'd love to see some similar responses to what's going on.

~ Jan ??,2013 ~ Service Center ~ Vermont I-129F Packet sent

NOTE: Actual sent date unknown due to lawyer negligence - I delivered ALLForms and PAID Lawyer on Nov 7, 2012 - Lawyer kept saying he sent the packet and USCIS must have lost it. When in reality he failed to send the package and only a new copy to USCIS after I made a legal written demand giving him 10 days to perform or return ALL monies paid to him, due to "non-performance".

(IMO it's better to save your money for visits to or from your Fiancé and just fill it out yourself using the K-1 Guide on VJ and Senior Members... They Rock!!!)

I would call you senator and congressman. They all have liaisons in Texas and Washington, D.C. ... You need to be an advocate for yourself .... Please contact them and explain the injustice, lack of communication and mishandling of your file

So why would my case be transfered to VSC when I live in California one hour from CSC? Any Ideas?

I have contacted my congressman. I recieved this reply on May 28th. I have not recieved any information since.

I spoke to the California Service Center today and they informed me that your case has been transferred to the Vermont Service Center. I sent an inquiry to the Vermont Service Center shortly after receiving this information and am currently waiting to hear back from them. I will let you know when I receive a correspondence.

Thank you Angelina for a very informative update. We always appreciate it.

8,000 cases that scare me a bit. Are these all I129F petitions? That seems to be so many petitions being transferred.

We wonder how will they come to adjudicate them. We are on our 6th month of waiting for NOA2.

Let's hope they will come to prioritize our papers hence we are pretty much beyond the processing time.

Though knowing we are not alone in this journey, we have very active and helpful fellows who are selfless

in giving us updates and encouragement;make our waiting more tolerable .

Let's keep on our mantra: NOA2 Approval !! NOA 2 Approval!!!

Thank you very much!

I don't think they're all I129Fs.

I spent a few hours today going through hundreds of case status' before mine, and I saw quite a few messages saying transferred for other petitions. Quite a lot of I-290Bs that were transferred etc.
