angelina what im trying to say that when mi fiance apply for the k1 his divorce decree was not ready he received some later

I think it would be best for you to start your own thread. If your fiancé was still legally married when the petition was filed, you are facing a denial. If your fiancé was legally divorced before the petition was filed, but he did not have the document yet, then you can satisfy an RFE request with the document. You can not get an approved petition if both people were not free to marry on the date the petition was filed.

Well,

week two is now in motion with no approvals yet from TSC. And the filers that remain in VSC got a whole two approvals yesterday (one RFE).

What is going on with the horrible imbalance here? CSC is moving through Feb 2013 pretty fast...ranting33va.gifranting33va.gif

At what point does this ship right itself? When one center is doing 3 months and the other 8-9 or 10-12?

Unfortunately I totally agree...CSC approving eleven a day will get them to March before the end of June...will VSC complete Nov by then?....only 19 days left in June to tell us....:(

I really hope that they are working with us. We're so left behind compared with the CSC. Still being positive with Texas tho.

Hi everyone. I just joined the forums so I can post with you all, because my fiancé and I are in this bizarro transfer club too.

We haven't had a letter yet though so we don't know exactly where our petition is. But we WERE at the Vermont Service Center. Is it now safe to assume that it's in Texas?

I-229f petition sent: January 11th 2013

Visa in hand: 16th October

Fly to America! Saturday 19th October! :D

Adjustment of Status:

I-485 filed: January 24th 2014

Notice of Potential Interview Waiver letter received: May 15th

I called my rep also, and they seemed to be slow at giving me any kind of response...almost like they didnt want to do anything about my questions and concerns...

Is it even worth taking time to contact the reps at this point in the game...

The cases are in Texas, and what can we actually do about it? I'd say nothing and just let the approvals come as they will...

Just sayin, in my opinion.

maybe someone else can get answers from a more lively congressman...

Hi Vivalagloria,

I can't say 100% but so far, Yes the majority of the notices of transfer we have received indicate they were sent to Texas. The Notice Date is May 29th though and several of us also received another Notice on the 30th of May that they were sent to a "local office and were being processed"

So it's a good bet you are in Texas as well but that may change, even if it's true now. I'm with whomever said it.. I don't care WHERE it is!! As long as I (We) get a Petition Approval Notice this week! lol

~ Jan ??,2013 ~ Service Center ~ Vermont I-129F Packet sent

NOTE: Actual sent date unknown due to lawyer negligence - I delivered ALLForms and PAID Lawyer on Nov 7, 2012 - Lawyer kept saying he sent the packet and USCIS must have lost it. When in reality he failed to send the package and only a new copy to USCIS after I made a legal written demand giving him 10 days to perform or return ALL monies paid to him, due to "non-performance".

(IMO it's better to save your money for visits to or from your Fiancé and just fill it out yourself using the K-1 Guide on VJ and Senior Members... They Rock!!!)

I have a hot update!!!!!!

I just got off the phone with senator Blumenthals office

Here is the story

They have been trained to take care of the 129 s they are on the floor starting the receding process meaning they are being checked that they are in fact transferred. .. So if you have received a letter it means they have checked you in the system .

Once and during this process they will begin to adjudicate the cases.... The shocking news is that there are 8000 cases that have been transferred

Here is other news I learned. That they do generally start a goal of 5 months but they also say that this can bleed into another month.... So you case isn't considered past the processing time until really 6 months .... She said that its good news that they are trained and ready to go .... Now it's a matter of the order that they are received . She wants me to check in with her next Tuesday . But she says its possible but not gauranteed that it could be process before then....,
