Our congressman just told us that they've been submitted an inquiry on our behalf with the Texas service center. I'm gonna keep you posted when we get news about it!!

It would be interesting to hear if someone got the transfer letter WITHOUT an alien registration number... then that would mean those with one are being approved soon. If everyone got one... well there goes that idea.

My letter also had one and I didnt think much of it until I read the posts here. I am hoping for the best!

I got our letter today. Says we were transferred to Texas and my fiancée has an alien number on the notice as well.

The only odd thing is the receipt date is wrong. It says December 19 but it should be December 17. But I need to check on that to make sure. I have my fiancée the NOA1 last time I visited so I can't check now, but I'm pretty sure it was December 17 since I had it in front of me when filling out my timeline.

could you please update your timeline to Texas service center!

The timeline clearly says put the original service center, even if it is transferred. So, it's technically wrong to change to Texas and is going to screw up Igors list since we are still Vermont even though our case was transferred.

I just looked at mine and my receipt date is also different. On my NOA1 its 3 January, on this transfer letter its 4 January. I think I saw some other posters who mentioned the same thing.

I received a letter today!!! Finally... stating my case is in Texas and they have jurisdiction over my case now... Still going on the 10th to local office and calling tomorrow. I noticed one new thing my beneficiary's I.D. number and it is showing Vermonts office in the bottom but texas in the top does this mean that the letter was sent from Vermont's office explaining where my case is now.

I think you need to wait... We are at h 6 month mark ... You probably have another month and some change ....I believe you can and must bring proof of her divorce at the interview .. You could not do that when you filed cuz she wasn't divorced... Welcome to the waiting room!!!!

Maybe you can send it if they ask for it in an RFE?

if your fiance didn't have an A# before and has one now if I'm not mistaken (I don't want to get peoples hopes up cause thats been happening a lot the past few weeks hopefully someone can either confirm this or say im wrong) but an A# usually means approval cant be far behind...

I did receive the letter today with A# that our case was transferred to Texas. I know what A# means and I really much like to think what Eric-Wulan said. A# usually mean (in my experience with my other immigration related cases) is a good sign. :)

March 27- AOS package sent to Chicago Lockbox ( I-130, I-485, I-765)

March 28 - Package received at USCIS.

April 1- NOA1

April 2 - Email and text notification with Receipt Numbers.

April 2 - Checks cashed in

April 10 - Hardcopy of NOA1 for all three applications.

April 11 - Received biometrics appointment letter for 04/29/2014

April 15 - Completed Walk in Biometrics appointment successfully. (Original Appointment was for 29th April)

July 10- Potential Interview Waiver

No...not Serious problem ... The bigger issue is if you knew her 2 years prior to filing and do you have those documents .. Plane tickets Emails photos etc.to prove it.. The date of the divorce does not matter ... It is that you knew each other for the proper time and can prove it .. You can bing the divorcé degree the interview...
