Called yesterday and we now have our NVC case number. Medical on Friday...then what? Call the embassy to schedule interview?

There is definitely light - my fiance got his visa on Saturday and flew out Saturday night. POE was yesterday! We will be married on September 29th.

One week ago we get our NVC case number by phone. we still dont have e-mail ,but we have the case number. So , when i check on www.ceac.state.gov , this shows up for our case

I can`t understand what this means - ready as still in NVC and ready but not shipped to consulate , OR ready means already in consulate ?

I called to embassy in Sofia , but nobody gives me info our case is arrived or not. They keep saying wait for the appointment letter. But i cant make my medical before i shedule interview. When i try , they ask - do you have an appointment letter , if not - no medical , no interview sheduling.

What do you think , when is shipped the status is shipped or what ? Please , a little help with this , guys!

Hey Just have your USC Fiancee call the Visa Specialist at 202-663-1225 (after the opening message) then select Opt 1 then Opt 0 they can tell him more information most likely. You can call until 5pm EST.

You will know when they have received your case because they will then ask for the names and Dates of Birth of both of you. Before they have it.. they don't ask for this info.

Nope!! No idea.. LOL But I have mailed nearly everyone Dom. Rep. user approved before me and around my approval time.. lol we have made a lil web of updates and info exchange... so we am eagerly anticipating our Miraculously fast Interview Date on the Perfect Day for our Miraculous Matrimony Mission... LOL

We will also do a quick wedding and reception though mainly because I don't want to marry in Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb or even March.. lol

so the Emabssy's gotta Hurry Up their Hurry Up'n!!

And NO ONE reading this is allowed to comment to the contrary!! We will wait for and happily accept whatever date is given... when is it given...

But don't be Neggin Up Our Positive Co-Creations with your silly statistics that generally don't apply (unless of course they are statistics that positively support my "Miraculously Fast" positive thinking!

i think this is DOS phone number , i called them days ago to give me my new case number and they did asked me about birth dates , and at the end they gave me the number. But i didn`t even thought to ask them about it was shiped or not as i thought this is NVC who send them . He will try to call now in his lunch break . Thanks a lot for the advice.

Normally the Status you will have first at NVC is 'at NVC' from there it changes to 'in transit' when shipped from NVC to the embassy in the benificiarys Country and once its received changes to 'ready'

so that means the embassy has got your papers.

Yeah, it means your case was electronically sent to the consulate and by DHL. That is what I was told when I contacted them a few days after getting our case number.

Won't be long until we should hear from the consulates. Our medical was done today, so waiting on interview date. Also, has anyone been invoiced yet for the fees?

I have a question for you all. My fiancee has her appt with the embassy in Lima on Sept. 26. I am flying in a few days early to help her with everything even though I was told by the State Dept rep I may not be allowed in the interview. I want to make sure I have all the correct documents so our visit does not cause delays. here is what I have:

Form DS-156 Nonimmigrant Visa Application x 2 (2 copies)

Form DS-156K Nonimmigrant Fiancee Visa Application (1 copy)

Form 1-134 Affidavid of Support with 3 years W2, 2012's Tax Return, 3 Years Pay Stubs and a letter fo employment from my HR

Do I have everything currently required?
