I have been travelling but got the email and text that our case has shipped to NVC on August 15th. I just called and they haven't received it yet. Hopefully by end of this week they should have it and we can get the case number

Close but no Cigar

3/25/2013 - Sent I-129F

3/28/2013 - NOA1 Received

7/10/2013 - File sent to local office (Texas)

7/13/2013 - Letter received in mail stating case transfered to TSC

7/30/2013 - Case approved

7/31/2013 - Email stating approval of I-129F case

8/1/2013 - NOA2 Hardcopy received in mail

8/15/2013 - Email stating case shipped to NVC

8/26/2013 - Called NVC and received case number

8/30/2013 - Medical Completed

10/8/2013 - Received Appointment for Interview at Embassy

10/16/2013 - Interview Completed - Visa Approved

10/23/2013 - Received Visa via DHL

11/26/2013 - Travel to US

TSC sent our case to NVC 2 weeks after approval . NVC recieved yesterday , and today we have our new case number. Yheaaaa !!! I think we were lucky at this stage after 8,5 months waiting.

July 24th NOA2 still waiting to be shipped from TSC TO NVC. I have called, emailed, e request , ombudsman, congressman, NVC SEARCH, TIER2 at NSC and still nothing. I give up.

Does anyone know what is the timeframe for the case leaving NVC? Mine is sitting there for almost two weeks now and not being sent to the ambassy. It's frustrating enough it took 200 days from NOA1 to NOA2 and 3 weeks after approval to get to NVC. And now it's not moving out from NVC...

For me it was a couple days at NVC tops before shipping to the Embassy..however, I have seen people post that there case was stuck in Administrative processing at NVC. I've also seen people have delays when TSC made an error and it had to be sent back to be fixed. I would try calling NVC and/or DOS to see..usually the delay is getting to NVC, not at their facility...good luck. :)

Thanks. I just called. They said my case is going through additional processing. No timeframe provided... What's the hell is additional processing about???

I'm not sure why that is.. I know there are some countries where they do AP but that shouldn't be the case with Russia as far as I know...I did a quick search for you and found this thread which was a K1 and it happens to be Russia too...it was there for 3 weeks according to their timeline:

Thank you. For some ugly reason I've been through every delay possible so far. Every step was taken a way longer time than the average. There shouldn't be any "red flags" in my case. It's as normal as possible. (((
