Wow ! Well after all this freaking out we got our NOA2 today finally ! Don't listen to the people on the phones ! The Texas Center approved our transferred case today...We had a NOA1 of Jan 28th 2013...It seems they are moving on the applications...Hang in there everyone ! Your approval is coming ! I know it....Now we have to hope that they transfer it to the NVC as quickly as possible...Thank you all for your help and encouragement !!!

Hi everyone! I'm one of the approved people but wanted to give a heads up! Have your congressional rep call TEXAS and ask for your case, once approved, to get sent to the NVC! I was approved June 15 and my rep called yesterday, my case was still there, today it has been sent to NVC!

Can I call? I don't have a congressman... will they give ME that information if I call USCIS? what do you guys think?

It has been 9 days since our aproval appeared on the website, but we haven't even gotten the hard copy of the NOA2 on the mail yet... I called NVC but they don't have it yet. I'm worried our file got left behind. Is it too early to be worried?

Question for anyone who was approved last week (Wednesday, July 3rd, in particular) - have you received your NOA2 hard copies yet?

We were approved July 16th and still no hardcopy of NOA2, called NVC, they said they don't have it yet. How can I find out if our file was sent back to Vermont??

For everyone who has been approved on the website but have not gotten the hard copy of the NOA2 yet and for those whose file is not in NVC yet, you can follow this forum http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/440117-tsc-approvals-but-not-forwarded-to-nvc/

It will be useful for all of us to see if other people from our same dates are getting their hard copies or their case numbers on NVC.

Hang in there everybody!!! we all know it's worth it! ^_^

We got transferred from VSC to TSC on June 21st and got approval (on the website) on July 16th

On July 16, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Hi! I got my approval on the same date! have you gotten your hard copy yet?? it's been 9 days and still nothing for us :(

We got an email & text today saying "On July 22, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly."

We still never got an email, text or hard copy in the mail regarding our NOA2 (even though it was approved 8th July) but i don't really care anymore! At least our paperwork is on the move. I may just get the packet 3 info before I leave for the US on the 6th Sept! Fingers crossed!

It seems like the 5 month mark is dead on the money regarding time for processing etc. Those that are still waiting, be patient (says the most impatient person ever). Hang in there, they seem to be plugging through them now.

the congressmans office called me after hours today and told me that USCIS/TSC liaison contacted her and told her that WE WERE APPROVED.............earlier in the day i got an email that my address was changed.....but still waiting for an approval notice......IM SOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Until even this VERY MOMENT the USCIS website and "last touched" date (if you sign in) is unchanged since the 15th. It still says Response Review but I received the actual NOA-2 in the mail yesterday.

So I received NO UPDATES AT ALL... Not Email, Not Text Message and the website unchanged.

Here's my breakdown:

July 2nd RFE Email

July 9 RFE Hardcopy

July 15 USCIS Rec'd Package ~ I got text telling me the case was updated and an email saying it was received. Status was also updated on USCIS Website.

wow.gif July 22 with no contact and no change of status anywhere!! POOF!! MAGICAL NOA-2 Hardcopy in hand!!!dancin5hr.gif dancin5hr.gif wow.gif

I almost lost my feet when I opened it and read "Approval Notice Valid from XX/XX/2013 to XX/XX/2013

I hope this helps anyone still waiting!!

06/03/13 * Hardcopy of transfer notice received with new receipt date (now 12/31/12)

06/05/13 * Infopass at local USCIS. Was told that petition is in Vermont (so the system says). As for Me: Keeping my faith

06/19/13 * RFE email received

06/29/13 * RFE hardcopy received (asking for letter of intent to marry from both)

07/02/13 * RFE mailed out

07/03/13 * RFE received in TX

07/05/13 * USCIS update "Review for RFE"

07/10/13 * NOA2 (email) God is GREAT

07/18/13 * NOA2 hardcopy recieved

07/22/13 * Case sent to NVC (new case # to be assigned)

07/30/13 * Got New case #. SDO2013 - God is GREAT

We got a text and email as well as the USCIS website updated to "Post Decision Activity". Our status never clicked to the "Decision" status on the USCIS website the whole time. Even when we were called on the 8th saying we had been approved - the website never changed until now.

This is what the USCIS status says now:

I am guessing we will see our NOA2 arrive in the next 5 - 10 days from the 22nd!? We had the call and confirmed that our application was approved on the 8th so i guess it just took them a little bit longer to actually get to the mail out bit?

I really just want the packet 3 and the paperwork at the Syndey consulate so i can ship everything off before i leave for holidays! I think it might be a bit of a stretch at the rate they are actually posting things out though. As far as I am aware (from what i've read) it goes to the NVC then onto my consulate - so who knows how long that will take :/ I have 5 weeks to hopefully get something in the mail!!!!

YES!! SIIIII!! es posible!! LOL that would be great!! i am hoping we get fast dates!! I dont worry too much about statistics... I just want him flying home with me by end of Aug!! I beleive God wants that for us too!!! and so it is!! Amen!

When in reality he failed to send the package and only a new copy to USCIS after I made a legal written demand giving him 10 days to perform or return ALL monies paid to him, due to "non-performance".

(IMO it's better to save your money for visits to or from your Fiancé and just fill it out yourself using the K-1 Guide on VJ and Senior Members... They Rock!!!)

the congressmans office called me after hours today and told me that USCIS/TSC liaison contacted her and told her that WE WERE APPROVED.............earlier in the day i got an email that my address was changed.....but still waiting for an approval notice......IM SOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

finally - great news! congrats! :)

Woooooooooo!!!!! Just received our approval !!!! NOA2 took approx 8 months but what a relief. Thanks all for the support you provide on this forum

yay!! :)

Got a text at 10pm tonight finally got APPROVEDDDDD!!! So happy I might not sleep tonight... hope who ever is still waiting for an approval gets one soon...
