I'm just amazed how it can be so difficult to mail some files every day, or even once a week. Do approved petitions get better when you let them sit for a while? I just don't get it, the other service centers get it right too or not?

On July 16, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Does this mean I got APPROVED????

I have been following this forum while traveling for work and did not have a lot of time to participate, but I wanted to share this with you. The reason is because knowing that the people near our date where being approved gave me hope! Thank you all for that!!!!!

Sent our petition february 1st, got NOA1 February 14th

YYaaYYy Laura & her Man!! Super excited for you guys!! And glad to see my "RFE Response Rec'd to Approval in 4 business days" (or less tongue.png ) theory is correct!

Here's to trusting that our Approval comes today!! (On the Or less side.. lol)

They only asked for two letters.. so it will be FAST and EASY to Say YES to my Request!! dancin5hr.gif

NOTE: Actual sent date unknown due to lawyer negligence - I delivered ALLForms and PAID Lawyer on Nov 7, 2012 - Lawyer kept saying he sent the packet and USCIS must have lost it. When in reality he failed to send the package and only a new copy to USCIS after I made a legal written demand giving him 10 days to perform or return ALL monies paid to him, due to "non-performance".

(IMO it's better to save your money for visits to or from your Fiancé and just fill it out yourself using the K-1 Guide on VJ and Senior Members... They Rock!!!)

We're still waiting to get approved. But we just sent back our RFE response yesterday. I hope they get it today or tomorrow.

But even when we get approved it means waiting again to get sent to NVC lol or did they fix that issue by now? Anybody got their new case number already??

My personal opinion goes like this:

The first batch was the NVC and Embassy's "Starter Batch"!! Now they are getting cranked up and by them time they approve ours it'll be SUPER FAST!!! I envision it being the way it was with this process; where we saw MUCH LATER Filers getting approved before us!! My Theory is NOW it's OUR TURN!!!

I am seeing Us, Later Approvals getting FASTER processing times through NVC and our Embassies AAAANNNDDDDD Earlier Interview Dates!! Fantastic and Fast Inerviews and Approvals followed by Fast Visa's in hand, Cheap, Fast, Safe, Flights and Smooth Processing through Customs once Stateside!! In Jesus' name I claim it!

(Did I Miss anything?? lol)

Okay Then, it's Settled! We Later Approvals will receive FASTER processing times through NVC and our Embassies AAAANNNDDDDD Earlier Interview Dates!! Fantastic and Fast Interviews and Approvals followed by Fast Visa's in hand, Cheap, Fast, Safe, Flights and Smooth Processing through Customs once Stateside!! In the name of God we claim it!

Sent back our RFE last Thursday with what we missed, affidavit of marriage. This web site has been such a huge help! My lawyers checklist did not include the affidavit so we missed it but when I reviewed the check list on this site we both knew what we needed and saved 2 weeks because my fiancee wrote hers that night and sent it express mail it to me. We also included receipts for wedding dress, wedding gifts for guests, rings, receipt from the place we will be married and a letter from a state judge who will be performing the ceremony.

Got this update yesterday:

On July 16, 2013, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our TEXAS SERVICE CENTER location.

I really hope we get approval soon. Anybody know approx how long after the RFE is returned approval can be expected?

I got this 2 hours ago .. On July 17, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly
