Well we got transferred on June 21st from vermont to texas and our NOA1 is Jan 28th....So it has been 19 days since it has been in Texas and we have not heard anything since then...We are 12 days beyond the five month waiting period that was promised...I did see here that folks with a NOA1 of Jan 22nd got their NOA2 yesterday but I also see some folks who are from Feb NOA1 got approval as well...I mean, I am glad for them but I am frustrated that there are people who filed behind us getting approval ahead of us...I feel that anyday now we will get approval. I wonder how some folks on these discussions are able to get such detailed information about the process in Texas ? I called recently and the woman was really short with me on the customer help line and did not have much to tell me...Does anyone know who to speak to get some answers ? Thanks.

I know exactly how you feel! My fiance and I are Feb filers and I understand peoples optimism in being processed quickly, but when i read "YES, HOPEFULLY MARCH & APRIL FILERS GET APPROVED SOON" I just feel like saying "hey! there are still Jan & Feb filers waiting!".

We were transferred from VSC to TSC on June 21 and have had no notifications or updates since. It is only early days since the transfer but this website is a blessing and a curse with news! On one hand you have people being processed almost immediately after their transfer and then you have others who appear to have very normal straight forward cases having their paperwork sent all over the countryside!

Thanks for nice reply and I share in your frustration. I called the help line today again and asked for a "tier two" representative...He gave me the same line of B.S. in that it could take up to 60 more days....They have no idea what is going on at all and that really is the truth of the matter....The immigration service is a bloated bureuacracy with little care for the people they serve. We are at they mercy of their incompetetence....I hope you get approved soon everyone....

Today I have received this message from USCIS in an Email: On July 10, 2013, we transferred your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), to your
local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over
your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you
will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move,
please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new
address.

The message does not state where the local USCIS Office is. I recently changed my address to my new address in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. Would this mean the petition was sent to the USCIS Field Office in Honolulu?.....or? Does anyone know the significance of this transfer? Hoping it is good news; but, I have no idea???????

Ahh, stupid mobile forum. Anyways, was your petition originally sent to Vermont? They have sent 2 batches of applications to Texas, guess they are on their third. I got multiple emails when mine was transferred including stating if was going to a local office. Looks like yours is moving to Texas too. I think you will get another email soon saying its at another USCIS office. The notice in the mail is very straightforward and says moved to Texas, don't know why the email notices can't be clearer!

Thank you LoveinBrazil! Yes, I did receive two Emails within 45 minutes of each other. I now see many others were transferred from the Vermont Service Center to a "Local Office" on July 10,2013. Yes, likely to Texas as previous transfers were. Will look for a third Email within a week and a letter in the mail telling me where it was transferred to....likely to Texas. I agree, the Email notices could specify the local office the petition is transferred to. That would eliminate the confusion. Believing in an early approval! Aloha!

wow finally! so happy for your OD! :) Hope the rest of the journey goes smoothly...and you may be in luck if TSC has figured out how to do it correctly now so it's not having as much of a delay going to the NVC. :)

Congrats also to everyone who received approvals!!

Hi everyone! I'm one of the approved people but wanted to give a heads up! Have your congressional rep call TEXAS and ask for your case, once approved, to get sent to the NVC! I was approved June 15 and my rep called yesterday, my case was still there, today it has been sent to NVC!
