I got a email, saying it was approved on the 5th, lol I had been checking several times a day- the one day I work double shifts and don't have a moment to check online, it gets approved, so i didnt know till almost midnight!

That's so great! Happy for everybody approved. Just wish we would finally get the RFE were expecting! At this point that would be a relieve already. Now you can celebrate and enjoy the weekend

Got my hardcopy NOA2 yesterday, so at least that is happening fast. They actually send it out the same day you get the approval email. Now if they would actually send the petitions to the NVC that quickly...

tired of waiting ..waited over 6 months to be approved ...now we have to wait again ..its not right its not fare .its awful . we done nothing wrong to deserve this. we just want to be with our love.. is that wrong..!! .

Don't get discouraged...we all know the feeling too well..have to stay strong and keep pushing thru...the approval will come when you least expect it!

Yep ths Tuesday I hit 3 weeks waiting for case number from nvc ... While csc folks get there's in 7-10 days:(

The local office was a mistake by vsc ... Doesn't go to local office .... You can however schedule infopass at your local office an get updates about your case .. I found my local office to be more accurate and up o date than he main uscis office

Hi! I don't have a lot of experience in the forum, but I have been reading the posts, I got transfer notice a few days ago, and I read a lot of people are talking about 'local offices'? How do I know if my file has been sent to a local office and how do I found out where?

On May 29, 2013, we transferred your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Hey, I started a new thread under NVC sevice center. Since we are approved, Our situation has changed. We can complain to ombudsman again. Maybe we need to do another mass email complaint and catch someones attention. I know NVC is not under ombudsman, but problem is with TSC which is under ombudsman. What do you think???

Received my RFE in the mail today, as I suspected I was missing the Petitioners Letter of Intent to Marry and Beneficiary Letter of Intent to Marry. Lucky I anticipated this and already had my fiancee send hers to me in the mail. Both hard copies can be mailed back tomorrow.

hey! i go the same status on july 3 about my address change yet i never changed my address! i just got the hard copy of this and they said exactly they have updated my address yet i never changed my address, did you receive a hard copy regarding to your address change? can you share more info on this to me? thanks!

So what is the purpose of background check if USCIS can't tell whether or not I have been arrested before? My RFE was I missed yes or no question on whether I have been arrested before for domestic violence or something like that. Well I got home before 5pm so I checked no and signed and mailed it right away. hopefully i hear something next this week or next week.
