Oh don't worry, I didn't think it sounded rude!

I'm just getting more annoyed with VSC each day! They're sending petitions everywhere, and processing those that were left behind at an unbelievably slow rate. Add to that the fact that CSC is starting on Feb now, it just builds up into a big depressing tunnel with no light yet. unsure.png

I cant believe CSC is on feb sad.png

You are welcomed!!

Update from our congressman's case analyst -

Good morning,

Just wanted to let you know that I spoke to our Congressional liaison in DC and he said that the cases were moved to Texas to help them process faster. He is looking into the claims you and I both made regarding what we were told from the Texas Service Center regarding them not knowing how to process the claims, etc. which is possibly causing undue panic. He did say that realistically it may take a month or two at the Texas Service Center to process those claims, so the total processing may go beyond the original quote of 5 months by a month or two, but by moving it to the Texas Service Center they will process sooner than they would have staying at the other center. He apologized for any inconvenience this may caused, but asked that you try to stay patient and he would try to get us a more “official” response regarding these claims and how you can follow-up on them.

I can't believe - a month or two more is faster than staying in Vermont? When CSC was slow, they immediately started getting better and better, and I was glad I was in Vermont, but now, CSC with all the force is processing february filers and VSC i still on October - November. It is just not fair, can't they find the balance. I can't be calm anymore, this has negative impact on me definitelly, it is depressing. I am so down

Just make sure you get onto your representatives if possible, we need to kick up as much of a stink as possible with this to get answers and a resolution.

Also, just to clarify - according to USCIS' website, Vermont Service Center recieved 3,247 I-129F petitions for the months of December and January. You can check it on "National Processing Volumes and Trends", so very short of the 30,000 CSC transferred a while back.

I agree, really Vermont was not moving that slow...and we still don't know for sure where our cases are...

I seriously think that they will be processing our cases soon. I got a question....does the processing times at Vermont mean 5.5 months or 6.5 months (heard that they count the first month as 0). Cause I wanted to put an E-request in cause our case is 6 months old by monday and I couldn't. So I don't know if it is because of its orginally 6.5 months or because the case was transferred?

ACA - Check above. The congressional liaison for USCIS in Washington DC confirmed they are at the Texas Service Center.

But when i called in yesterday they said my case was in St. Albans VT, and then i got another transfer notice, so who knows where my case is...At least i was able to do a service request on it, hopefully that will tell me where it is.

You could call and try to get a service request because of all the conflicting info/confusion like some other members have had granted here, but as Vermont's processing time is October 15th, it doesn't really matter. People who were waiting 7+ months couldn't in CSC as it was always "We're processing July 18th".

"Someone just called to follow up and said that we were both given inaccurate information. I just looked up your receipt number on the USCIS website and it is different now; however, the Texas Service Center still does not show up in order to give an estimated time of processing. She said that the files are in their system now (the 30 days was inaccurate), the staff is able to processing them, and you can call back and they should be able to give you better information now that everything is up and running. She thinks that maybe we contacted them too soon??

Let me know if you get the same response we got earlier because I can call her back and let her know. She apologized for the confusion and any added stress this may have caused and thanked you for your patience."

Also, you could try and use the angle of that as your file isn't at VSC anymore, it is less applicable and you want your case looked into and a processing time for wherever it is now (that we know to be TSC).

And no problemo!
