I know how you feel - it's so frustrating. So many of my fiance's friends and family from the UK want to come so we are actually having something very small this year with just our parents and most siblings and then we are having a bigger "wedding" next year when we can plan for everyone to come including my brother from CA. His parents are coming both years. It does make things very tough. Hang in there - hope your approval comes today! :)

That's what I am doing too!! Small ceremony with our parents and brothers when he comes over this year, and we have been planning a larger, traditional wedding for next summer to give all his friends and family time to plan on coming over. There was no way I was going to try and plan the wedding for this year and have to deal with the stress of not knowing when he will be here!

TSC is approving about 10 VJr's a day which relates to about 200 actual cases a day. This is great. It took about 4 weeks for them to start approving but they are working as fast as they can. Things seem like a long time but it is better than being left at VSC.

We r doing the same exact thing!!

No big wedding till next year... Too much stress!!

Our main focus right now has to be this visa thing, also ones we there getting adjusted to new country (if u r the fiancee abroad), job, house... Idk! Thats my point of view...

After that we will have plenty time to celebraye big!!! So for us a small thing ones we officially get married ones i get there and the big traditional one later!

Me either - especially with the not knowing of the dates and in the northeast, even a year is not a long time to plan anything as you know. :)

Couldn't agree more! :) we are trying to get him here before a trip my dad had planned for the family in August and with his failing health, I'm holding out hope even though it's a long shot...but all we can do is try. :)

I'm glad I have you guys to share with too. :)

I agree lovenhope - it's a bit odd. Even if they just assigned the number and sent the packet to the correct embassy at the NOA2approval stage it seems it would streamline things. Maybe they need a double check but at another office? just seems disjointed.

hang in there - praying yours will come soon - I know you've been waiting awhile. :(
