So I went to my local office today was the last day of my service request deadline. Early this morning I noticed my USCIS via website changed to your alien registration number has been changed. I went to my local office without appointment they were nice and fast enough to see me. They told me that Texas had mailed out to the answer to my request but I did not receive it so the lady printed it out for me. She wasn't as helpful has the first gentleman that helped me before. It said " Your Form I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance was received on 12/21/2013. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in a timely and efficient manner. Texas Service center will be processing I-129F petitions in order to balance the overall workload with processing capacity. On 5/3013 your case was transferred from VSC to TSC. If you have not received notification from USCIS within 45 DAYS!!! please check the USCIS website or call customer service. BLAH BLAH BLAH

I WAS LIKE IS THAT ALL!!! SHE SAID YES AFTER 45 DAYS...

Of coarse I was not satisfied with this ANSWER BECAUSE I KNOW ALL THIS ALREADY!!!

So I decided to try my luck and talk to an officer by calling customer service. He gave me way more information than this lady... She was lazy too!

Anyway...

He said that on June 3rd, 2013 our background checks were back and complete and they were clear and in order. Good standing... He also said I should be hearing to get an approval very soon he said to be patient after 4th of July mid July he specifically said July 15th we should have a decision for you. I'm not sure if they can see if it has been approved but can't tell you over the phone or what not... but he was really nice and said he wished me and my fiance all the luck and hope things worked out between me and him. So all this gave me hope that we can be getting something very very soon! What do you guys think? Anyone else received similar information like this lately?

RFE sent on 06/19, checked the mailbox today...NOTHING! Called my lawyer, she still has not received either. These government employees hold our lives and futures in their hands and all I have seen is incompetence, lack of process one delay after another. Another week lost. Thanks USCIS

YOU GUYS!!! I submitted a service request about 2 weeks ago, and was getting annoyed that I hadn't heard back. Today I got finally got a response. This is what it said:

"On 06/12/2013, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I129F to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

On 06/25/2013, after you inquired about your I129F, we sent your approval notice to you using the most recent address we have on file. The original notice should arrive within 30 days."

So... from what I can tell, that means we got approved today! I checked the status again on the USCIS website and it still says "initial review," but as we've all seen, they typically don't change the status or send the notification until nighttime, U.S. time. I will post here again when I get the actual email and/or see the change on the website, but I couldn't resist posting my excitement! I will also refrain from updating my timeline until then. I just want to say to you all that I will NOT leave this forum until there is no transferred case left out there that hasn't been approved. I have been down in the dumps with you guys from the start and we are all in this together. I am so grateful to this community, and can't wait to share the rest of the journey with you!

It doesn't mean Approval or RFE, what it means is that USCIS has assigned a A-Number (kinda like a reference number for your Hunnie).

They assigned one for my Fiance about 2 weeks after they received it and I'm STILL waiting. So just my two cents... I do not and have not seen any viable evidence to support he RFE or Approval idea.

Several others got that a few months back as well.

Sorry... but Hey! They touched it and worked on it.. lol

Hi all. Me again. Here it is, the official NOA2!

"Post Decision Activity

On June 25, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

So excited, and also immediately panicked about gathering everything for the interview! Haha! Anyway, again, I'm so grateful for you all, and I can't wait to see all the rest of you approved very, very soon!
