The good thing is they are known to send out approvals over the weekends too, at least that is what I've read. We also have one more full week and then it's the holiday. Does anyone know how many days the USCIS will be off for the 4th of July?

Edit: I was wondering in the "Last Updated" field of our accounts did anyone see movement on the day other than the may 30th move? Mine is still 5/30 and wasn't sure if it will move when someone is assigned to the case.

Officially government workers only get the day of the holiday (so only Thursday). I'm sure they won't deny anyone that wants to take a vacation day on Friday or Wednesday too though, so you should expect not everyone to show up to work around the holiday.

This part of the system is definitely the waiting game with no time in sight. Hard to control it, and I know I was trying to make heads of it too. You can do certain things to help push it along, but until you're outside the processing window you are left to wait for the system. Hang in there, we all are, and we will all get there. After you get your NoA2 at least things will become more clear. You start to see the wedding, the house, the dog, and being to live the the life you are looking forward too. Just keep it positive and positive things will come. Wish you the best and for your approval to come soon.

I love your way of thinking. Feel like Peter Pan.. think happy thoughts :)

So this is the first time I'm doing all checking the numbers before and after mines. Last digits are 50..

All the 51-59 I checked after mines had their decision already (not all fiancé visa only one I thing)

And the numbers ending in 10-25 before mines all had their decisions too.. So now people who's last 2 digits are from 29-mine is stuck in someone's desk waiting for them to

Actually do some work.

The thing is 29-30 is not a i-129f although from 40-mines is!

I dont have an approval like the most of you. However, i am excited today. Put in a service request on Monday and just got an email from USCIS that my case has been put under expedited review. Not sure if i should jump for joy or just brace myself for the days to come. eb0dfafc.gif60 days is a long time. ClockWatch2.gif Either ways I am still happy that its being push for an expedite. Wish me good luck my VJ family.dancin5hr.gif

Recently, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance' to notify us that your case is currently outside of normal processing times.

Your case is now under expedited review. You should receive a decision or notice of further action on your I-129F Petition for Alien Relative within 60 days from the date of this letter.

We hope this information is helpful to you.

Expedited review sounds very promising. Did you request expedited review?

I did like 4 inquiries and got one answer so far.. that our case is pending at TSC and blah blah blah... here it is:

(USCIS) records confirm that your case is pending at TSC. Your Form I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance(e) was received on 12/06/2012.

USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in a timely and efficient manner. At this time the Texas Service Center will be processing I-129F petitions in order to balance the overall workload with processing capacity. On 05/30/2013, USCIS transferred the workload for I 129F petitions processing from the Vermont Service Center to the Texas Service Center.

Thanks QueenoB - it was me. :) we are one day off on the NOA1. so my last four are 9134 does that mean there are 74,858 received between our two numbers? yikes -that's a lot. but I am no math whiz either so I could be off. blush.png

I've seen a lot of requests for people not to change their timelines, and thought I'd respond. I know VJ also states not to change the timeline, but I can think of no logical reason why me changing my timeline from VSC to TSC would mess up peoples timelines in Vermont. I'll preface my response by saying I am a systems engineer by trade and know a thing or two about designing these types of data tracking algorithms. My service center is no longer VSC so my processing timeline has absolutely no effect on those who remain in Vermont. It doesn't make sense to use my NOA2 date as an indicator for when other VSC approvals might be. Also, the timelines show the percent of approved applications by month. Why should my approval count towards a December approval in Vermont? If anything, it artificially inflates the VSC % by month graph and makes the timeline misleading. If anyone can provide me with a compelling reason to change it back, I will. But until then, I am going to leave it as TSC.

I just received response on my recent inquiry and it really confuses me. What kind of notice they talk about? Does it mean I am getting RFE after 6 1/2 months of wait? Did anyone got similar response on case inquiry?

Here it is:

What You Can Do

Well technically you didn't send your application to Texas right? Receipt number EAC stands for Vermont and wherever they transfer our cases it is their internal thing. Changing now to Texas Service Center will remove a lot of applicant from Vermont and obviously will mess up with statistical data on Vermont timeline.

Imagine you have 10000 applications from DEC, JAN, FEB in VSC and suddenly 8000 DEC and JAN got transferred in TSC. FEB gets approved here and there in VSC - this adds up to statistical data. And if you change SC to Texas it changes timeline cause it collects information from 2000 applications now. But all 10000 applications were filed at Vermont.

Besides TSC is not working with I-129F directly. Therefore it is still VSC.

i just called to speak to a TIER 2 and once on hold for like 90 minutes the officer comes on. And i told them I would like to put in a service request. He started to tell me that VSC is currently processing Oct 15 but I wouldnt have them feeding me that BS. So i told them its been stated for over a month and a half that VSC is still at Oct 15 and that is wrong. I have seen people being processed all the way in Dec being approved. So he was tired of me being irate and asked me for my email and he will send an inquiry to an adjucator. Thus my email from VSC that they will expedite my case.
