My file got touched ... ,,,,first on the 24th and now today... Food news ????

On May 29, 2013, we transferred your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Or good news ?????

First to Texas, now to your home office? I certainly hope this is good news for you. Seems like they could have just sent it to your local office in the first place.

No matter what is going on, hopefully you and the rest of those who have passed the 5 month mark all get their approvals ASAP

Edit to add: Makes me wonder if maybe they just sent out an entire batch of cases to Texas to have them sort and send to the local offices where they will be handled on a case by case basis?

i am not getting this notifications by e-mail is that a problem? I only see it on uscis website when checking my status :) And i got that same transfer :) hope its a good sign :)) Thanks for posting

Just got the same message. Im still a bit confused? Im in NYC....So does this mean my petition was sent to USCIS office in New York State? I hope this is good news...honestly I dont really know what to make of it.

Azsara, i see you've been really supprotive to all of us, and i really think that after november filers are done its your turn in VSC, so you might get your NOA2 very very soon :))) maybe even before us, i wish that this generaly goes faster,but what can we do :)

I just got this too. Makes me feel a bit stupid as we've just sent another letter off to our congressman saying about training people at Texas! Now I have no idea where our petition is?!

I definitely agree with this, Azsara has been following people's cases for months for Jan filers and she's never been anything but pleasant, supportive and gracious. I've been following your case second closest only to my own as you're a fellow UK filer and we're both Jan and have been chatting, and I really hope you get your NOA2 soon. :)

Well it said it was sent to a local office. You can search the field offices in your state here. But we just have to wait for that letter in the mail to be sure exactly where. ClockWatch2.gif
