Hey and welcome to the forum, can i just ask, what was ur NOA1 date in janaury? Did u receive a message a couple of days ago saying that your case was transferred?

There still are 40% of the people from November that are waiting for NOA2 which means that Vermont is not at 4 months. Now with Vermont shipping out applications to other offices, things might change.

Warrwn and vivian, sorry about the delay you under going thru...but we are here for positive responds...to your words things wont ever change for bad but for good...that's reason why we all have been praying for things to be faster...and if you are still with vermont just keep finger crossed...I prayed in my message and thanking the Lord Jesus for its greatness making it faster...its all our wish! Did you send in any relationship evidence? What was it? I can understand an RFE is you sent no evidence at all, it's a easier for Canadians to slip through without primary evidence.

What exactly does your RFE say? Is it asking for proof of relationship or proof that you have met face-to-face within the 2 years prior to filing?

Generally they don't ask for "proof of relationship." They ask for proof of meeting in the last 2 years. They are NOT the same thing.

From what they suggested sending as evidence (passport, itineraries) it looks to me like they are asking for proof of meeting. If you send proof of relationship when they are not asking for it you will be denied.

It depends whether it is an RFE for either 1. proving your relationship together, or 2. proving that you have met in person in the last two years. If its number 1, pictures, birth certificates as you stated and any letters, emails or calls. However if its 2. and you haven't seen each other in the last two years then you have a problem as this is a main requirement. Good luck with your process

Then they are not wanting proof of your relationship. They want proof you met face-to-face within the 2 years prior to filing, which is one of the main requirements for the I-129F. Primary evidence for this is passport stamps, boarding passes, hotel receipts, ATM receipts, bank and/or credit card statements showing purchases in the other country during the time you claim to have been together. Photos from those visits are only secondary evidence and go along with the primary evidence.

I have replied to my RFE on June 16. On Jun 18 Status changed, but since then no answer. Should I be worried or start contacting my congressman?
