Woke up and there it was, our I-130 was approved :dance:, a day to truly give thanks. I hope more of you rec'd the same late present we got. Email showed up at 11:15 last night. 71 days of waiting over, I had to tell someone, my wife is not home and too early here in the west to call anyone. Last night when I got home I had noticed that they touched our case but no update on the status. I was optimistic but.......well you all know how much or little this can mean. Excited but with cautious optimism. And today.........damn, I just want to cry, I haven't been so happy since my wedding day, or night. :dance: Everyone, wish all a safe and Happy Thanksgiving, I know today will forever be a day with special meaning for us.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

I responded to you in my barcode posting late last night. I knew it was imminent since you said you had been touched. That is great timing - receiving the word on Thanksgiving! Hopefully, both of our spouses in Colombia will receive their Visas around the same time. Brad should be getting word anytime on his NVC approval. I am happy for both of you guys. Congratulations again and Happy Thanksgiving!

FREAKIN awesome Doug! Congratulations to the both of you, from the both of us!

I can relate, as I am sure many can, to the often lack of happiness while playing the waiting game. I personally get hit with it for a few weeks after I return from a visit, and its a tough thing to suck in and deal with! However you are now one more step closer to being with her!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

(And Mark, yes - I would ASSUME I would get a case complete soon but I am going to scream if I have to continue my nightly phone call much longer!!! My DS-230 was received 11/3 and they are saying give them the full 4 weeks until Dec 3 to call back...grrrrrr....I was hoping for a lucky draw and a quick approval of the final document!)

We woke up to the same news on Thanksgiving day and it only made the day sweeter. Now lets keep our fingers crossed for quick NVC to Bogota delivery and a January appointment (I'm being very optimistic, I know!!!) If you'd like, lets keep in touch and see how it goes for both of us since we seem to be on the same timeline... Congratulations to both of you....I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL!!!!
